I want to have a formula that finds the sum of the values in Col 1 (Qty) for the rows that equal, eg: 140, in Col 2 (Product) So that I can have a list of Products of the Qty that relates to each product. (there are products in increments of 10 from 10 to 920, that is, 92 products)
I'm looking for a formula to sum three adjacent cell values in a specific row and then sum up all of the rows.

For example, the value for the above would return 17 = [(1+0+2)+(3+1+2)+(4+4+0)]
Any method to determine the number of instances a value ("4" for example) appears next to a specific value ("x" for example). I don't have a workbook; I'm just looking for any formula that can search for specific values and find the total number of instances that an adjoining cell contains data.

Above code runs without errors but does nothing.
I'm using this formula (in conditional formatting) to compare a cell with the previous cell (e.g. E11 compares to D11). If it is higher/ lower/the same, E11 is coloured accordingly.
=MATCH(E11,Grades,0)<MATCH(D11,Grades,0)
=MATCH(E11,Grades,0)>MATCH(D11,Grades,0)
=(D11)
However…. sometimes the data is not in D11 but C11 or B11. How do I tell excel to first of all look in D11 and only if the data is not there, to look in C11, then B11?
What I want to achieve: those cells have number 1 ( in column E) , adjacent cell values ( In Column D) are copied to G12 in the following format:: Mark,Lark ( i.e. cell value , cell value, etc)

I have a yearly running log (attached). At the bottom in cell [B88] I would like to develop a formula that gives me the number of times I ran in that specific month. Dates are in Column A and running distances are in Column B. If a distance is zero, I don't want to count it. I have attempted to solve this using the =COUNTIFS formula, but I am not able to structure it properly. Maybe =COUNTIFS is not what I should be using.

A particular code will show up in many cells, but the code that is the respective adjacent cell is always different. Any way to search for a value down column A, another value across roW 1, and tells what value lies in the cell at their meeting point. 4 example, I'm looking For "47" somewhere in column a, and also the number 53 somewhere in row 1, and I need to know what value is in the cell where those to meet.

What I need is a formula that will search down Column B until it finds the first blank cell. Then report what is directly to the left of that cell.
So If the first blank cell is in $B$5, it will report what is in $A$5.
I’d like to return the range (or cells address) that includes text formatted in Bold and Arial font, this is always in Column “B”, so I’m actually behind the rows number....

I am trying to find a solution for highlighting cells in a column that are repeats, ie. >3. I also need these cells to only be highlighted if the adjacent cell in the next column contains specific text. I have tried using conditional formatting with a countifs formula to no avail.

I tried using a helper column and then the Large function, however cannot get it to work.
I have attached an example sheet, and in column L4 - L7 i would like to put the team names (taken from column B) into the right order from the results shown.
I have to replicate this over a number of different pools in a number of different divisions. This is just one pool.
Sometimes I need to copy the values in adjacent/continuous cells and paste them into the cells which I select and which are not adjacent/continuous.
Like for example i want to copy values from A1:A4 and paste in C1,C4,C7,&C10

I want to search a block of two adjacent cells in a table and return its forth column value.
I'm trying to write a function that returns, from a different sheet, the value in column C and row 6*current row.
For example, if the function is typed into cell B5 in Sheet 1,
the resulting value would be whatever is in cell C30 in Sheet 2

One has numbers the other has "YES" or is blank. I want a formula to look at the second column and where there is a "Yes" then count the number in the same row in the first column.

the $ columns are conditionally formatted to highlight the top 10 values on the matrix. is there a way to have the corresponding % cells also highlighted? The % and $ aren't both top 10, so the % would have to be highlighted based on the $ top 10 cells.

Sheet2 contains the items that contain a shipping condition. There are two shipping conditions Fragile and non-Fragile. The list is of Fragile items.

I am looking for a way to have it set up that when i enter an item number in sheet in 1 it searches in sheet 2 to see if it is fragile, if it is then returns, in sheet 1 column F next to that specific item 'Fragile'. If it doesn't find it in the list returns 'non-fragile'.
I have a little problem - as you probably guessed.
I have a spreadsheet in which i need to find the value of the last used cell in a row.
e.g spread sheet uses columns "a" to "l" and rows "1" to "75".
Over time rows are filled in with text ("tom" "dick" "harry") from a to b to c, the most recent being to the right but the rows can move at different paces.
I want to count how many many times each value has come up most recently.
I request you to write a code for me to fill the cell values as "Not Applicable" in Column "AZ", if the "B" Column cell values = "Justified", "Approved LSAR" & "Approved SDAR".

I'm looking to return the values in column A adjacent to the cells in Column B equal to "Y". The kicker has been returning only the cells where the condition is true. Column C displays the desired behavior.
The closest I've been able to get is with a simple IF statement but I'm pretty sure the answer is a far cry away from there and likely requires an array formula. I'd prefer not to use VLOOKUP or OFFSET but will if the alternative is very complex.
Essentially, sheet b is a list of 900 people I need to mail to. Sheet a has 3000 rows of people, many of whom don't need the mailing. It has mailing addresses that we need in sheet b.
We have two worksheets, sheet a and sheet b
compare sheet b, column c (email addresses) to sheet a, column x, (email addresses).
If they match, move sheet a, columns d, e, f, g, and h to sheet b.
I have two excel sheets. The first sheet has a column with codes and another column with dates. There are more than one date for the same code. The second sheet has just one unique code. I am working with a nonprofit to set up their financial ledgers. There is one workbook with 12 sheets, one for each month. The goal is to be able to set up a formula that searches through all 12 sheets for every donation that a specific individual has made. For instance, let's say that John Smith gave x amount of money on 1/1/2000, y amount of money on 1/10/2000, and z amount of money on 2/2/2000. This data will appear on 2 different worksheets. I have the following formula, which allows me to look through one sheet at a time:

Where Column A in each sheet is individual name, and column B is amount donated. Sheet "Jan" is the data for the month of January, and sheet "Smith" is the culmination of John Smith's donations for the full year. Using this array function, I am able to retrieve all data for John Smith in the month of January, but I can't find a way to make one function that searches for all of John Smith's donations in each month. Is there a way to build an array function in VBA that would accomplish this?
