I would like to know how to combine many cells in a column - sometimes 100's - into one cell separated by a comma without having to type each cell name using.
I would like to know how to combine multiple cell value from each column to create a unique value. for example column A will have values (a,a,b,c,d,e,e,f,i,j) and B will have (1,2,1,1,3,4,5,5,6,7) and C has ( xxx,yyy,zzz,xxx,yyy,zzz,xxx,xxx,yyy,zzz).
i need to create a list of unique possible combination of data into column D.
I have placed below example and how to create a similar code and what functionality does this.

I have 5 columns, each with some data. On the 6th column I need to combine the data from all 5 columns into column 6 to be as: Data in A2-Data in B2-Data in C2-Data in D2-Data in E2. With one exception. column D is the date in this format 27-Aug-09. I need the date to be modified on the fly from 27-Aug-09 to be 270809 which will be the info in D2. See example attached.

what the easiest way is to combine date and time into one column. Concatenate? What format do you give the combined date and time column after you group them? Below is what I need to do:

I need to combined all non blank cells in a given row into 1 cell. But within each row i have 5 phases that the values fall into, which is denoted by the 1st charter 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5. for example, in a given row i have 1-a, 1-c, 2-d, and 1-f and these values occurs in non consecutive columns starting from G to ALR. I need a macro that sorts these values in one of the 5 phases. So in another sheet the macro would combined [1-a 1-c 1-f] in Phase 1 and [2-d] in phase 2. and if there are other phases it would put them in the appropriate cell.

However, in addition to what the macro already does, it is possible to add another work sheet in the same work book that outputs the values in separate cells? It also has to output the data in order: for example, in the first work sheet the data is inputted at random and has spaces but the macro will have to remove all the blank cells and output them in order based on the first value in the test string, 1, 2, 3, 4, and then 5;

Sample file attached. How do I combine the data in columns B-E into column A? Obviously in my sample file you'd use a simple cut/paste but my actual file has hundreds of columns and rows so cut/paste isn't an option. I need to move all the data into column A.

However, I only want it to work if both a1 and a2 cells contain data. If only a1 contains information, but a2 is blank, I want it to calculate a blank cell.
Creating a macro that is a combination of other cell values. the cell order is listed below:
C57 = contains a unique number that will change from time to time eg. 1234
H57 = 1 (this will always be the value of 1)
N57 = contains text eg. AUDUSD
V57 = contains text eg. BS

The cell with the results cannot have any cell references contained in the end results and must be formatted as above so that the add in program can read and pass on the information.

I can do this with a formula,

but this may exceed the 255 character limit when the text string needs to be transferred to a query.

I have managed to retain leading zeros in a cell by formatting the cell and selecting Number and Custom and adding the maximum number of zeros I want to have in front of the number in the cell i.e. 000002.

I have a macro that loops through several workbooks and copies data to one common sheet. Works great with one flaw that I have not been able to resolve. I am using the End Property example below, this works great as long as there are more than one cell with data. With one cell having data this takes you to the bottom of the sheet.

Need code to select from a specific cell to the last cell in that column with data where when the selected cell is the only one with data that would be the only cell selected.
I need a macro that will examine column A starting at A2 and working its way down copying the data in the first cell (A2) and then delete that row. If the next cells are empty (usually the next 5 cells) it should paste this copied value in each of the empty cells until it comes to the next cell with data in it. At this point it should copy this next value and delete the subsequent row and copy this value in each of the empty cells directly following (again, usually 5) until it finds the next cell that has data in it. At this point, again the whole process begins again repeating it self until it comes to the end where no more data is.

I've got a good-sized single sheet workbook (A1:I8851) that I need a fairly complicated (seems like it to me, anyway) macro to get data in line from column to column. Here's what I've got:
Column A is titled "Category", and Column D is "Description". The actual category listings are in merged cells, spanning anywhere from 5-12 rows. Column D has no merged cells, but many (not all) cells in D contain data carried over from the cell above it (instead of wrapping the text, for some reason it just inserted into a new cell). The number of merged cells in A is equal to the number of unmerged cells in D.
I need a macro to combine each of the multiple rows in D into one single row, stopping and starting over when it reaches the next Category row. That way each category will have a single description line without incorporating parts of the description from the category above or below it.
I have individual date columns with calculated field in the next column, and this goes on for the rest of the worksheet. Example,
Column Header H to N consists of dates ranging from 2/24/2014 to 3/2/2014.
Column O will be the new column.
I want to change the new column header with the combined dates in the first column and the last column , i.e. the column before the new one, with a "To" text in between these two values. That way it becomes easy to identify the new column headers which are supposed to be week-wise.

I have a statement from an account (which happens to be the government) in which they list every invoice they are paying and each item on that invoice. But they don't have an invoice total.
