I have this spreadsheet where it is basically call center data so in one of the column it shows time of inbound call as example (21:12:05) and other columns shows specific notes about that call example if product was sold on that call or not. So I am trying to find trend that during what period of time in a day maximum product was sold. Example I want to set some criteria that from 8 am to 10 am, 10 am to 1 pm and so on and then to find how many products are sold. So what I am looking is how can i extract hours as numbers only? from time stamp? I tried using =RIGHT(a1,2) but its not working and it messing with the number format.

I have a program that automatically exports info into excel as that info becomes available. What I need is to be able to insert into a cell the exact time that the information was inserted into excel. For example, cell A1 gets info inserted into it, I need cell B1 to automatically insert the time that the info was inserted into A1. Any time there is new info inserted into A1, B1 needs to update that corresponding time.

Excel 2010 :: VBA Timestamp When Value Changes By Formula?

I've been looking all over for the most basic of VBA codes to insert a timestamp in a single cell (B1) when cell A1 changes due to formula result change. All the answers I've found are for manual updates of A1.

A1 has the simple formula: =SUM(F1:F10000)/3. I would like cell B1 to insert a new timestamp when the results of this formula in A1 change. On a weekl basis, I will paste-value data into the whole F column, which will change the resultes in A1.

If this can't be done, or is too complicated (I don't really write VBA, only copy and paste basic code), is it possible to have a timestamp inserted into B1 based on the paste-value event into the F column?

Excel 2013 :: If Statement To Generate Timestamp?

I am using Excel 2013 on a windows 8 machine. It may be easier for me to explain the problem, before posting about the formulas. I maintain a retirement residence with alot of phone numbers. I have a list of all the numbers we own in one column and the numbers assigned to the PBX systems in a second column. By using a If formula I can tell which numbers have not been assigned (The true statement). My problem is when a resident passes away, I need to reuse that "phone number", but I dont want to reuse the number too soon. I am hoping to use the "true" from the if statement to generate a time stamp. I plan on using that time stamp against the "today()" in a days formula, I believe this will spit out the number of days a number has been idle. The time stamp would be constantly changing or removed as the if statement would always be changing. So column C gives the True statement and says "Number not Assigned" - this should create a time stamp in Column W

I have a worksheet which contains START TIME in column A, then TIME USAGE in column B and END TIME in column C. User enters start time, followed by the number of time usage in minutes, how could i possibly display the end time automatically in this scenario? how do you add the entered time usage to the start time to display the end time? Say if I enter 1:00 AM at start time and 00:15 minutes on time usage, how can 1:15 AM be displayed on the end time automatically?

I have 2 columns E and F that I am using, in Column E, I enter a time say 22:43:00, column F currently ads 15 minutes to what ever is in there with '=E3+TIME(0,15,0)' which is fine except if column E has no time in it when it automatically puts in 00:15:00, hov can I get the cell not to display anything in there is no value in column E.

I am trying to find some simple code that will display elapsed time starting from execution of a macro to a certain point where a message box is displayed at which time the elapsed time should pause awaiting user interaction. Once the user has responded to the message box prompt the timer should continue on from its paused state ceasing at the end of the macro. I would also like the displayed box showing the timer to remain visible displaying minutes and seconds and continuously incrementing even though screen updating is turned off within the macro. (The macro switches sheets a number of times) and the elapsed time box needs to positioned at bottom left of screen.

X Axis Time - Display 24 Hours Making Everything Unreadable?

I'm creating a spreadsheet for anaesthesia monitoring. I have a table that calculates the time every 5 minutes (i.e. start time + 5 mins) for 3.5 hours and columns for heart rate, respiratory rate and drugs which is then plotted on a scatter graph. I've forced the major x-axis major unit to be 5 minutes.

Everything works fine for the first few values (1.JPG) then after 24 values it decides it wants to go crazy with the x-axis and display 24 hours (2.jpg) making everything unreadable. I would set the minimum manually but it obviously that will change depending on when the case starts. I can upload the file but it has some macros for other sections.

I am trying to figure a way to search for a cell that has a specific date and time range. There are several cell titles pending on the activity. I want to find a cell that has a time ** 7:30-15:30 , 15:31-17:30, 17:31-20:30. The end result is to calculate the activity between those time periods based on the data cells.


If the date searched time field ** the activity ranges is 1635 I need to split the time and credit the activity time in the 730-1530 time and the rest on the 15:31-17:30 time

I have been able to do it on a single labor group based on time alone, but when I try to add the DATE to it my numbers go null. Eventually i will need to add 11 labor groups daily for weeks at a time .
