User enters start time, followed by the number of time usage in minutes, how could i possibly display the end time automatically in this scenario? how do you add the entered time usage to the start time to display the end time? I would like if you will a summary box (list box or whatever is best) displayed on the front page and I would like a line to appear in that box maybe saying john smith requires a warning. I need this to appear if john smith has been entered 3 times into the name column on the discipline sheet however only if the offence is the same 3 times for example 3 lates not 2 lates and 1 non attendance.
After it displays this line in the summary box I would like to be able to double click it where a small userform appears where a user can then select discipline received or something and for this lien to disappear in the summary and all 3 entries in the discipline sheet.
I am trying to nest a formula with IF & AND to work out a RAG status. I have 2 questions per row (in Columns I:J) which will be answered either Yes or No. For each combination I need to give a RAG status in Column K – e.g. two Yes replies give Green, 2 No replies give no and one No out of 2 will give Amber

Cell D5 Holds a dollar amount. E5 is where the calculation will happen. Logically i need it to do the following exactly:

I want the IF function to display a message depending on what the percentage in cell E35 shows;

I am working to make an automatic result card in which excel automatically gets data of every student which is present in sheet within the workbook by simply writing roll number of the student in a cell. and i have done it easily by Vlookup and index functions but the only problem i am facing is, that i want to show the picture of each student by roll no. pictures are in one folder on my hard drive, now i want that as the roll number of the student is written the result excel should display the picture (from the folder, each picture named by roll)of the student. for example i write 1234 in roll no cell and want to get and show the picture no 1234 in another cell. It shows as 0,46875 and should show 11:15:00 as in the spreadsheet.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI am trying to find some simple code that will display elapsed time starting from execution of a macro to a certain point where a message box is displayed at which time the elapsed time should pause awaiting user interaction. Once the user has responded to the message box prompt the timer should continue on from its paused state ceasing at the end of the macro. I would also like the displayed box showing the timer to remain visible displaying minutes and seconds and continuously incrementing even though screen updating is turned off within the macro. (The macro switches sheets a number of times) and the elapsed time box needs to positioned at bottom left of screen.

The problem is that the table seems to always summarizes the time as well or it gives a count value of the time. If there is a better way or method to do this, I have open arms

In cell G1 i have formula to get time difference between cell C1 and D1 and its give me difference between these both time as 00:09.
Formula is =IF(OR(ISBLANK(C1),ISBLANK(D1)),"",D1-C1)
In cell H1 i have formula to get difference time between cell C1 and F1.
Formula is =IF(OR(ISBLANK(C1),ISBLANK(F1)),"",F1-C1)
But in Cell H1 i am getting Error as Negative time or date display as ########

Need to display time in total minutes but with a space after every 3 digits.
For instance, I can display 0.833333 as total minutes by using the custom number format [m] which displays 1200. But I need it to display as 1 200. I know with a standard number, I could use # ##0 but I don't know how to get both of these custom attributes to work simultaneously.
I'm creating a spreadsheet for anaesthesia monitoring. I have a table that calculates the time every 5 minutes (i.e. start time + 5 mins) for 3.5 hours and columns for heart rate, respiratory rate and drugs which is then plotted on a scatter graph. I've forced the major x-axis major unit to be 5 minutes.
Everything works fine for the first few values (1.JPG) then after 24 values it decides it wants to go crazy with the x-axis and display 24 hours (2.jpg) making everything unreadable. I would set the minimum manually but it obviously that will change depending on when the case starts. I can upload the file but it has some macros for other sections.
I want the users to store time only in some of the textboxes in a form so I have used control tip text for those textboxes. But i want to write vba code for displaying the error message if the users don't enter time in hh:mm:ss in those textboxes.
View 7 Replies View RelatedCan i put into the cells B38-AF38, that would display the sum of B20:AF20 + B24:AF24 + B28:AF28 + B32:AF32 +B36:AF36 in a h:mm format.
When imputing the data into a cell in a h:mm format, I need it to display in that cell and formula bar the h:mm format without having to put an apostrophe in front of "h" or ":mm" value. Once complete, this form is going to go to other trainers to use on their computers and I dont think they would remember to keep putting an apostrophe before the data.
Example:
B20= 1:15 (1h15m) NOT 1:15:00 AM
B24= :30 (30min)
B28= :45 (45min)
B32= 1:45 (1h45m) NOT 1:45:00 AM
B38= 4:15 (4h15min)
I have attached a copy of the form for better clarification.
It doesnt seem to be complicated, but it's certainly a lot more than I thought.
