I'm running a macro that pulls rows from a different spreadsheet based on certain criteria. I need to add an if statement that will determine if the dates in a column fall in between 2 dates specified in cells.
I have a bit of code (See below) which basically looks at a list of data in rows 10:99 and then finds a date that is between cells c1 and b1. If there is one the it puts that date in if not it leaves cell blank.
The problem I have now found is that is the dates in the sheet TR rows 10:99 and one of the dates is outside the range so for instance if the range set by c1 and b1 is 10/3/14 - 20/3/14 and in TR there are dates:
12/3/14 08/3/14 it wont return anything but if the dates are 12/3/14 08/3/14 15/3/14 it will return 15/3/14.
Is there anyway that I can change it so it wont return 0 if the last one is outside the range.
I am trying to automatically insert a time into B and a date into A every time something is entered into C. I want the time and date to not change from the time it was posted. What formula will accomplish this?
I tried using if(C"",now(),"") while having Workbook Calculation set to automatic, but it would update every cell in column B every time I entered data into a new cell in column C.
I am trying to build a workbook to track patient treatments. My overview sheet needs to list the last treatment received per patient which is listed in column a of each patient's individual sheet dynamically so I can review the history of treatments as well. I have tried to create a dynamic list, but it is not functioning correctly. I was using : =OFFSET(txdate,1,0,COUNTA('patient, name'!$A:$A),1) , where column A ( the named range "txdate") lists the treatment dates in succession and should be updated automatically when a new treatment is done.
I'm trying to use countif or similar to show how many times a given date is between 2 dates (inclusive). Each row of the spreadsheet contains amongst other info, a Start Date and an End Date. If i've got 2 rows like this:
I'd want to lookup 02/01/2009 and have it return 2 (02/01/09 falls between the dates on row 1 and the dates on row 2). To give some context, this is an export from a database containing staff holiday dates, and I'd like to be able to see how many people will be on holiday on any given date, given the start and end date of all holiday occurances throughout the year.
What i have is a list of dates in a row. I want to set up a countif formula to count the number of date that fall with in 90 days of todays date. I'm planning on placing todays date in a cell in the upper left hand corner (cell A2) above the list of dates. This way i can just type in todays date and the spreedsheet will count the number of dates, in the list, that fall with in 90 days of the date i type into cell A2
I have a employee travel spreadsheet with air travel dates in two columns. I want to be able to create a rule that will highlight all the cells in a row if the date range on that row fall includes today's date. if someone is traveling in the event there is an emergency and I need to know if they are traveling that particular day. I have attached a sample spreadsheet.
I have a worksheet with a data sheet that has the values for a number of portfolios over a time period (one month)then I have a corresponding sheet for each portfolio (in the attached example I have included only portfolio 1). What I am trying to do is to make a formula in the sheet Portfolio 1 that matches the date in the Portfolio 1 sheet with the data sheet and by matching the date returning the value for the Portfolio 1 for the date ie date 2008-06-01 should return for portfolio 1 (from the data sheet) 500.
I have tried with varying Index and matching formulas and I do believe that this is the way to go.
I have a spreadsheet used for calculating information based on the dates specific shifts are requested/cancelled by our clients. I have a formula for working out if a date & time of cancellation is less than 48hrs notice of the shift starting. This is because we have cancellation fees based on this.
What I have is this formula: =IF(A16="","",IF(INT(A16)-INT(G16)<2,1,"")) that returns a 1 if that shift is cancelled within 48hrs notice. This works fine but I have to now change the notice periods to the following:
I have a list of football fixtures that I want to pace in date order. The fixtures are however linked to a grid which has the following formula =IF(FIXTURES!C1="","",FIXTURES!C1 )
so that a zero doesn't appear until a result is actually added. Unfortunately when you sort the fixtures into date order the grid still looks at the original square, NOT the moved one appertaining to the fixture.
I am currently using this formula =DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+6,DAY(A1)) to get me 6 months ahead from a certain date. There is a new problem that has arose for me. I need a formula that will give me 6 months from a certain date if it falls on a Monday if the 6 months does not fall on a Monday then give me the next Monday date. for example 6 months from 1/2/2007 is 7/2/2007 which falls on a Monday which is fine but, If the start date was 1/3/2007 this falls on a Tuesday so I would need the next Monday date 7/9/2007.
I inserted the Date & Time picker Control into my worksheet. I have it linked to a cell. When I change the date, the new date goes into the cell, but it does not appear to be a "date" . The date formulas that use that cell do not evaluate properly. It looks different than when I type a date directly in to the cell (it is left justified). I tried formatting the cell as a date and the format property of the control is set to shortDate.
