Show Zero If Amount Is A Minus
I need a formula that that will show £0.00 if the amount is under zero, i have a formula k15/o15 that gives me a amount but if this is under zero i need this to show as zero not -£70 for example.

Formula To Show A Date Range Based On The Amount Shown In Another Cell
Attached is a excel file that has a working formula for tracking cashier variances. I edited out names etc. I added a new cell called Track Back on the employee search sheet. What I want to do is only show variances for the amount of days back selected in the Track Back cell. For example if I select the last 30 days, only the last 30 days would show up below in the sheet. I am not sure if this is even possible based on the forumla that is already on the sheet. I couldn't figure out a way of doing it. But there are a lot of people on here much better with excel than me

Reference Cell & Add Amount If Positive & Subtract Amount If Negative
Im trying to set up an active running inventory sheet where: (A)the progressive daily sheet cells reference back to the corresponding master sheet cells fluctuating the master values, (B) the same progressive daily sheet cells reference back to a cummulative totals-cell based on whether I added or subtracted inventory. I want to make a copy of the blank "sheet 2" with all of the formulas and move it to the end of the workbook each day and enter new values which will reference back to the master sheet so that I can click on a date sheet and see an individual day's values or click on the master sheet to see the fluctuating inventory on-hand and the cummulative +/- totals of all days combined. I've got a couple hundred individual cells to reference. I've tried and tried but I can't make it work. Heres what I need to do: I need to reference individual cells from "sheet 2,3,etc" back to a corresponding cell in a master sheet. But I need the values in each cell in "sheet 2,3,ETC" to increase or decrease the corresponding cell values in the master sheet. For example: If the value in the master sheet B5 is 200. Then in sheet 2, I enter +50 in B5, I need the master sheet cell B5 to increase by 50 to 250. I also need a way to decrease the cell value in the master sheet B5 if I enter a negative value -50 in sheet 2 B5. I also want to know if I can reference the same cell values entered in "sheet 2,3,etc cell B5" back to totals columns C5 for adding inventory or D5 for subtracting inventory in the master sheet where the master totals columns would reflect cummulative totals added or subtracted. For example: if the value in sheet 2 B5 is +50, then the value in Master sheet C5 would add 50 to a progressive total. But if the value in sheet 2 B5 is -50 then the value in master sheet D5 would add -50 to a progressive total.

Average Minus Most Recent Row
I have a table in a sheet where the rows of data are filled in automatically from other sheets. Each row represents a different week. The data, (lifted from from the relevant worksheet for each row) represents the no. of calls in each week. Now, I've set up an average to be calculated from the data - it'll do this for every row as long as there is data present. (If the row's corresponding worksheet doesn't have any data the result will be "NA()" - not included in the calculation.) However, I don't want the average to include the no. in the "most recent" row, as this is "live" data and until the week is over does not represent the data for a full week and therefore skews the average. Subtracting Dates (minus Weekends)
I attached an excel file for an example. Basically I am calculating on time shipping, but I want don't want Saturday and Sunday to coun't against us.I need G5 to equal 3 days. Right now when I subtract E2 from F2 I get 5 days. But we only work M-F, and Saturday and Sunday shouldn't count against us. How would I subract the days automattically, so it takes out Saturday and Sunday?

Find Formulas Ending With Plus Or Minus X
I have many regularly used workbooks with financial data in them. Many times the financial data needs to be adjusted due to rounding issues. To do this I add a +1 or -1 or sometimes it is in decimal form +/- .1 Also the number "1" is not always (but almost always) used. There are some circumstances where I may add + 2 or +6 or any small number to the end of a formula. My problem is that when I use the file again after making these changes, I am wanting to remove the "adjustments" I have made to the formulas. Sometimes a green triangle will appear in my cell telling me the formula does not match that of other near-by cells, and that is good, but it is not consistent enough to find them all, or even most of them. What I am wanting is a macro I can run that will identify any cell with these "adjustments" I have added to them and I will then go in and delete the +/- 1 or whatever the number is. I can easily do a Find "+1" for the entire workbook, it is the range of possible numbers that is preventing me from doing a simple ctrl + f.

Multiplication To Ignore Minus Numbers
If I wanted to get a cell, say A1, to multiply a value, for example 7, by the results in another cell, say B1, but NOT multiply if that cell's value is a minus number, is there a way of getting Excel to do that? Conditional Formatting And Minus Figures
I would like to put a format on all cells that are below -15:00 (that's the cell format). So, e.g. -20:00, -50:00 but NOT -10:00. Do I use greater or less than? I cant seem to get any to work! I have already put a format on the cells for greater that 15:00 which works as it's whole numbers - although it has changed the 15:00 in the conditional formatting cell to 0.625 but still seems to work?

Dd/mm/yy Minus Yymmdd (formatted As General)
I use the first six numbers of a SA Identity number to calculate the age of a person as these six digits are actually the year (yy) followed by the month (mm) followed by the day (dd), I am born 01 September 1962, and therefore my first six digits are 620901. Assume the figure 620901 is placed in Cell A1 Now, in another cell, say A4, I have a future date, but this value is formatted as dd/mm/yyyy. Assume this value to be 01/10/2017. Firstly, I'd like to know How old I AM at that date and secondly, just because I am battling so, how old I will be on my next birthday, because adding the figure 1 to a total has never been so useless - it just doesn't work! I tried adding all sorts of numbers for months and days in a year but there was no consistency. So here is my question: Simple - how do I get this to work? On 1/10/2017 I will be 55, or turning 56 At Next Birthday. I have the following function that gives the answer of 55, but not 56 ANB even after 1 additional year is added to the function (the cell is formatted as yy): Cell A6 Function = A4-DATE(LEFT(A2,2)+1900,MID(A2,3,2),MID(A2,5,2)) Also, ON my birthdate, 01/09/2017, it says that I am 54, and it has to be wrong because I would have turned 55, unless the function uses time and not just the actual date somewhere. On the next day it does, at least, see me as 55. how to add calculate what my age will be AT MY NEXT BIRTHDATE for any given date in A4?

Calculate Hours Worked, Minus Weekends
to calculate how long a ticket is open in our system before being resolved. I don't want to count weekends, and if the ticket is 'suspended', I don't want to count that either. There is also the factor that the ticket 'un-suspend' date may be later than the ticket 'closed' date. Which is the bit that's throwing me. So, I have the following fields Ticket Open, Ticket Closed, Ticket Suspended Date, Ticket Unsuspended Date A sample ticket might be (using above fields) 02/11/09 09/11/09 04/11/09 30/11/09 That 'should' equal two days (16 hours) as the Unsuspend date falls after the close date so it was suspended from the 4th until closure. Now I want to know, in hours (8 hour day) how long that ticket took to resolve (i.e close), remembering you can't count the time it was suspended, or any time that fell over a weekend. Also not all tickets are suspended.

Hide Minus Values On Y-axis On A Chart

At the top of my worksheet I have a combo box which allows you to select a local authority name; and all relevant information in the worksheet is highlighted (using conditional formatting, extra series in charts to make relevant points highlight in red, etc). I've added a series to the chart and changed it's type to line - then with the data labels positioned beneath the points on the line I can get conditional formatted x category labels - all outlined here: [url] Because my x category labels are fairly long I've had to give them an orientation of -90 and make the minimum y-axis value equal to -200 to give enough room beneath the chart to fit the text in. As I said above, the values below 0 are just there to provide space at the bottom of the chart, so my question is: is there a way to hide these negative values? I'm sure I've done it before, but can't remember how - I thought maybe a custom number format of #;[White]# would work, but it just inverted my text (white text on black background).

Formula To Calculate How Many Hours Minus 30 Mins For Lunch
If a person does a full day I want the formula to calculate how many hours minus 30 mins for lunch i.e. 7:30 - 4:00 = 8 hours. I have done this and it works fine, the problem comes when a person does a half day i.e. 7:30 - 11:30, this will read 4.5 hours. If this is the case I don't want the 30mins deducted so it should be 4.0 hours worked. I have high lighted a column in the work sheet (yellow) whereby the user puts an 'x' in the appropriate cell if they are working a half day. The probem is I cannot incorperate the two formulas in one cell (the Actual hours cell) I have the one formula in the actual hours cell and the other bolted on the end thus giving two different readings.

Another Sheet To Show Each Class Down The Rows And The Columns To Show Each School Rule
I have an excel 2003 sheet that collects data from Infopath forms. The forms are to record students who have broken school rules, when, where, repercussions etc. One column shows their class and there is a separate column for each rule broken. I want to create another sheet to show each class down the rows and the columns to show each school rule. Therefore, each cell would show the number of each particular rule broken for each particular class. I have tried to do countif and sumproduct (if on sheet 1, column B the class is KA and on sheet 1, column M, the rule is bullying = how many times this has occurred).

Adding Column Minus Rows That Have Data In Another Column
I want a cell on one spreadsheet (SP-A) to add up a column (M) in another spreadsheet (SP-B) rows 11 through 10000. Here's the thing, I want that cell to actually display not the sum that it gets but that sum minus all numbers (in M column again) which column E is filled out with any data for their given row... i'm not even sure if this makes sense lol... let me use example on SP-B there's a column M. in row 11, value = 3 in row 12, value = 5, in this same row column E is filled with whatever in row 13, value = 2, in this same row column E is filled with whatever in row 14, value = 6 in my SP-A I need the cell to display 9, since rows 12 and 13 have values in E and I don't want to add those to the sum.

Count # Of Cells Minus Red Cells VBA
I have tried to figure out how to count all cells in a column and subtract any cells that contain characters with a red font. I'll attach an example. I need code that will work in VBA so that in the case that the column does not contain any cells with red numbers it won't come up with a debug error. In excel I normally do this manually with this formula: =count("") I normally highlight all cells except the red ones. See attachment for example. Also, the # of rows is never the same. Some files will be 100 rows, some will be 1000, depending on the store's file we get. so the code would probably have to contain something like .lastactiverow or something.
