Is there a way to change the text on a label in a form with macros. Im going to be updating some values (Years) and want these to change automatically.

Label Caption Change... Run Code
I have just noticed that there is no defult event for the running code after updating a label caption. I would like to have like a textbox does (Change,AfterUpdate). to run code on the label caption change. could it be done with activex?? can it be done at all.??
Change Label Caption When Textbox Selected
I'm buildng a userform for data input.
As an aid, I have a label at the bottom of the form and when a person tabs onto a textbox that labels then states what you are supposed to input into that textbox along with an example. When you tab onto another textbox the caption on the label changes to give another explanation and example.
I attempted to insert an if statement into the userform which states that if a textbox is enabled then the caption of the label = "Example"
If textbox1.enabled = True Then label1.caption = "Explanation 1, Example 1"
If textbox2.enabled = True Then label1.caption = "Explanation 2, Example 2"
Userform Textbox And Label Change From Cell
I want a floating userform (showmodel = false) to display the results of a cell.
On excell spreadsheet I can assign a cell value to an object/shape, as the cell value changes so does the display on the object automatically.
I want the same results on a userform.
I tried the texbox & using the the controlsource from the properties window, this was only good for one result. for the next result the textbox won't change its value.
As i want this for display purpose only can i use the label for the above problem
Change Caption Of Label & UserForm
I present a form (a calendar) twice in my routine to the user but I want to change the Caption of the Label on each pass?
The first time it's displayed: 'Please select a start date' (calendar closes & goes off and does stuff)
... and on the 2nd display: 'Please select an end date'.
Change Caption Of Dynamically Created Label
For a form that dynamically creates a series of text boxes and labels, does anyone know how to change the caption of a dynamically created label to display the value of a cell in a worksheet? The cell in the worksheet changes according to input on the text boxes. In the form's code, I have:

I have a textbox with a label & he will type in his name in the textbox & it appears on the label. Is there any way to put the word "Hi" on the label & then have his name appear after "Hi" on the label. I can do it using 2 labels side by side but I would like to have it all on 1 label

Macro To Change Text In A Column
Can I use a macro to change text in a cell? As an example, I have this list of names in a column. I'd like every other name to have a semicolon instead of a comma after the name. My list has commas now
And I want it to look like this.

Set Label Control Captions To A Cell Text/Value
I have an excel application that I'm developing that is going to be used by two different departments. On one side everything will pretty much be userforms. The sheets they the data I need to pull in for them is on sheets that I have such that their visibilty is equal too xlveryhidden. I'm trying to change the captions on labels using the data on the veryhidden sheets. Something like this.

'lbGroupName and lbGroupNum are both labels that should vary

The labels are not changing their values.
Change Button Text + Run Macro With Arguments
My apologies if this might sound a bit newbish compared to other questions asked on this forum, but I'm new to vba and there are 2 things I can't work out.
1) I wrote a function that takes an arguement and wish to call that from a number of buttons I placed on my worksheet, each button passing it a different value for the parameter. How can I do that?
2) From my code, can I reference back to the button to change its text?
Label Scatterplot Chart: Plot Two Values Against Each Other Using A Scatterplot, And Label Each Service
I'm working for a local authority who have been given a mass of survey data. In this particular task, residents of each small district within our area have been asked their levels of satisfaction with a service, and how important they think that service is. I want to plot these two values against each other using a scatterplot, and label each service.
Excel does not automatically allow this so I used a very good sheet from the forums here: Attach labels with names to the points in a scatter plot. It's the top file, and works well. However, I can't seem to customise it for my own data.
- Excel often freezing when I try to run it
- Not all the data being picked up for the chart
- Incorrect labels being picked up..........

Worksheet Change Macro Takes Too Much Time When Run With Update List Macro
I have a worksheet in which I have a worksheet_change macro. This worksheet_change macro makes sure that a few cells will keep their colors, even if the user copies and pastes a new value to that cell. This worksheet_change macro runs each time there is a change on the worksheet. Now my problem is that on the same sheet I have an update list macro which updates around 20.000 rows and two columns (which is alltogether around 40.000 values) and it takes a while to run. So.. it takes a loooooooooot of time (too much) when these two macros both run.
My question is that can I somehow disable the worksheet_change macro while the update list macro runs. I mean something like when I start the update list macro to disable worksheet_change macro and when the update list macro finishes, then reenable worksheet_change macro?
If Statement In Macro: Macro To Change A Range Of Cells Colours Based On A Single Cell?
1st - Need a macro to change a range of cells colours based on a single cell having a value greater than 0.001. ie. cells A1 - G1 need to change to grey based on cell F1 having a value greater than 0.001 entered in it?
2nd - Also a macro for deleting the text contents of cell C1 based on cell F1 having a value greater than 0.001. Therefor if cell F1 has a number greater than 0.001 it changes the colour of celss A1 - G1 and also deletes the text in cell C1?

To Change Text Color
I am in need of a way to change the color of text in a cell to red if that cell contains a dollar sign ($) and if it dosen't contain a dollar sign ($) for the text to be black. I want this to happen automatically without having to run a macro, is this possible?

i have this formula and need to change true and false to text for both the expressions
what im trying to do is e23 has a static date (food sell by dates)and if that date gets within 3 month (J2) period of todays date (L2) i want it to say "warning" if e23 is equal to or older than todays date i want it to say out of date.
L2 has =today()
J2 has the number of months in it for the warning
Change Text Boxes In Do While Loop
I made up a form of 30 text boxes to simplify entering data, but seem to be having a problem inserting it easily back into my excel file.
I would like to use a simple Do While loop to shorten my code but can't seem to change my text box correctly.
My text boxes all have names like this txtap1run11, txtap1run12, txtap1run13...
As you can see all I need to do is change the last number of the text box name.
I can't figure out how to do that though. I came up with this, I don't have the do while loop in.

Text Box Change Using Listview
I created a form in which TextBox Value will change based on selection in ListBox.
Problem : I have YardNo in Colm 1 of List Box which is having duplicate value.Now when I select 1st value of duplicate Item it shows same value in TextBox. But When I select 2nd Instance of Duplicate Value it shows the 1st value in textbox. Means its not changing the values. Attached file will give you a clear idea.
Change Formatting On One Sheet When Text Is Typed In Another
I am trying to have one sheet with company names on it and another as a schedule. I have about 20 companies that I need to list on the main schedule sheet. Is there anyway when I type a company name in one sheet, when it copies that cell to the schedule sheet, format that cell to a specified format? I know conditional formatting will work, but it only allows 3. I need around 20. I would just like to change the background color of that cell when the name is typed in.
Edit Change And Output A Text File
I use excel to read in an ASCII data file in which every line beginning with H is a header line and lines beginning with S are data line.
I want excel to filter out the header lines and output the file with the data lines only then outputs these in a new file.
I also want it to read the values from column 72 to 75 and subtract 6 from them then output them again to the same new file.

Change Text Color While Combining Cells
Is there a way to combine cells in excel and chage the color of part of it?
Example: On my sheet I have multiple cells I need to combine:
Say A1 reads 23.65
Say A2 reads 43.65
Now on A3 I want it to read "Estimated budget 23.65 vs 43.65"
I can get this to work but here is the problem, I want the 23.65 to always be red and bolded and the 43.65 to always be blue and bolded.
Change VBA Text To Read As A Number
The code below is for a Userform to allow data to be entered into a form and than placed into a worksheet. Also this code allows me to edit the existing data in the worksheet and than place the data back into the worksheet when down editing.
The problem is some of the data in my userform are numbers and the userform is reading it as text. When I enter numbers into the userform and than place it into the worksheet, how can I change the code so that the userforms to recongnize numbers not a text?

Change Cells Comments Commented By Text
I noticed that I have several (@200) comments that when visible displays Cell X Commented by (my work user number) in the lower left corner of the excel window. I'm not sure how to change this so its the company name instead of my work number. I'd be using a loop to go through each comment but need help with the line that would change this part.
Remove Apostrophe To Change Text To Formula
I needed to change a formula to text before copying it to other cells. I did this with a Replace command: Replace> Find what: =IF( then Replace>Replace With: '=IF( Now I need to remove the apostrophe to turn the text in all the cells back to formulas.
