Combobox On Userform Dictating Where Data Is Entered

So in this userform I am want it to add data to the main list of products. But, I ALSO want it to add to the specific list by selection of the data in the combo box.

It already adds the data to the main list. Now I want to be able to select the data in the combo box and have the userform data put in the specific combo box list.

In VBA editor it is the Inventory macro:

I want the macro to work exactly as it does right now, but I ALSO want the Combobox1 to dictate where Textbox1 and Textbox2 are added in a separate list on the products sheet.

Adding Text Entered In Userform Combobox Into Dropdown List

I am not sure if this can be done easily but essentially what I have is a userform that fills out a form that will used by several different people and saved to a central location.

There is a blank combobox currently labeled "Supplier:" that each person fills out each time on the userform (there are no dropdowns yet).

What I am wanting to do is for every person who saves (I have coded the save button) with the "Supplier:" combobox filled out to save what they entered and input that into the combobox dropdown so when the next person uses the userform the entry the previous person entered would be in the combobox as an option to select.

Essentially, a combobox populates itself based on what previous users have entered into it.

The below code worked fine when there was just the month entered, but now all the entries in the sheet are in the format 01 January 2009. So I need a section of code which will search for the combobox value as part of a string in my range.

The cbodate values are Jan, Feb, March etc ....

I have a userform that I want to add to a button click event, to fill userform data into a different (already existing) workbook.

What I have is a userform for entering Purchase order information (Supplier, Date, PO#, Products, Descriptions, Qty's, expected dates etc.) What I am trying to accomplish with this particular button, is to 'Generate Purchase Order'... Have a seperate workbook, with a 'blank' pre-formatted formal purchase order that will be autofilled with said userform. The now generated Purchase Order ready for print/ save-as.

Basically, I have a Userform and am trying to have a user enter 1 datapoint into a Textbox. Based upon that datapoint (it's 9 digits), I am trying to see if I can therefore reference a linked Access Table to fill in other textboxes with information tied to that record (so if they enter a unqiue ID, I want to automatically return Name of Person, Location, etc.) . I liken it to a vlookup in regular Excel but am just not sure how to go about it in VBA.

Data Entry By Textboxes On Userform - How To Prevent Duplicate Record Being Entered

I have created a userform with 3 text boxes. It also has three buttons - clear, Cancel and Generate record button.

User form takes entries in the three text boxes and on clicking the Generate Record button, the values of the three Text Boxes are inserted in Column A, B and C of sheet1. The columns keep on populating with new data on each submit in the row below the last record.

Now it is required to enter data only if the value entered in TextBox1 is new and has not been entered previously in column A. If textbox entry is already aviailable in column A, a message box of 'Record available' shoud be prompted and the text entry must not be allowed until the data entered in TextBox1 is not unique.

Modifing Data In A Userform's Combobox

Using my workbook i want to modify the entries of a worksheet. If u hit the Commandbutton1 , u can see that i have a userform with 3 pages.

The 1st page is to create a formula
The 2nd page is to modify the formula
The 3nd page is to delete the formula

What i want is the following:

1-Using the 2nd page I want to select a formula description and then to modify the description or the formula or both. After that, if i hit the Ok button to save it.

2-Using the 3nd page I want to select a formula description and then if i hit the Ok button and Delete the selected formula i want the bar to move to the previous row of the deleted one. Eg.: If i delete the row 10 i want the bar to move to row 9.

3-At last ,if u think that u have to change parts of my code and make it better go ahead.

I need to populate a combo box on a form with the column name (A,B,C...etc) and the first row data. I need the code to check all columns in-case of missing column data.

Its important to note the data will be dynamic. In my add in, a form opens on requests and asks the user which column he needs to action data on. this could be on any one of several non similar spreadsheets.

E.G.: Combox to hold the following data (see column D has no data or header row):

Column A - Date
Column B - Rep
Column C - Customer
Column D -
Column E - Product

How can i pass this info to the form ?

I am trying to create a userform to allow user to register their new team member. In the userform, I have textbox1 (new team member) & textbox2 ( name of their leader). Once both the textbox has been filled, the user need to click on the commandbutton, which will then add the newly registered team member to the combobox1 in the Sheet1 and then create a spreadsheet(tab with the Team member name) in a separate workbook, which corresponde with the name of their leader (as filled in textbox2 in the userform.

Find UserForm ComboBox Value & Transfer TextBox Data To Same Row

My question is, instead of deleting the row, how can I use the combobox to replace that row with the updated info rather than delete and resort? I have a combobox that selects names from a sheet, column A and populates itself on Userform activate/initalize. Using the Combobox to select a name, this code below populates all the fields on the form, various text and comboboxs.

When users hits the update button, it currently finds the row and deletes it, see second code example, but this reaks havoc on various parts of the program, I have to move the combobox and add name textbox's because when it deletes the row, the combobox takes on the next rowsource and then writes that info, rather than the info selected.

Is there any way to set the list from a Combo Box to automatically start in the middle?

Whenever I select a Combo Box, the drop down list always automatically starts at the top of my selected range, ideally I would like it to start in the middle.

For example my Range that I am filling the Combo Box with lists dates: Today()-7 to Today()+7.

At the moment the first item in the combo box list is Today()-7, I would like it to be Today().

I am using the combo box that lists the loan officers number from the selection the loan officers name and branch is loaded. I want to be able also base on the officer selected add get the total new loans opened by that officer. I added an if statement that checks if the loan officers number from the "Oct_2012" is equal to the loan officers' selection from the combo box then add all the loans than match that criteria. I am not sure if what I am doing will work but when it reach to the For block it only reads the For statement and then go to the endif and don't execute the statement within the block.

I am writing a UserForm and only one of my comboboxes is correctly outputting to the assigned worksheet. All of the textboxes, radio buttons, and checkboxes are working properly. Excel 2003 :: Userform - Ok Button To Delete Data When Clicked On In Combobox

I have a userform that has a combobox in it that also has an OK button and a Cancel Button. Need getting the combobox to pull in the correct list? The data for this list will be in cells A2 through A16. But not all 15 lines will always have data in them so I'd like to only show the ones with data. Then next issue i have is I would like the OK button on this userform to actually erase the data the user has clikced on in the combobox. It's a list of kids that the userform is asking which one needs to be deleted. So it might be the kid in cell A9. so when the user clicks on that kid in the combobox form a9 and hits ok I'd like to have all the kids below A9 move up one row.

I have a user form that has one combo box on it that right now references one column of data.

Now I am being asked to have three columns of data and the combo box to show one of the three when a certain criteria is met.

I believe it would be easiest to have an additional combox with a change event when the box is populated with "whatever" in the field

So S:3 to S:5 have A, B, C

And EC:1-EC:59, ED:1-ED:59, EE:1-EE:59 contain the data that should show when S:3, S:4, or S:5 is selected.

If S:3 is selected then the list in EC:1 - EC59 would show and so on.

I copied and pasted Column A into Column C and then removed duplicates. I named Column C 'ValList' and placed it in the RowSource for ComboBox1. What I now want is for ComboBox2 to populate based on my selection in ComboBox1. There are no duplicates in Column B. Duplicates are in Column A.

I also named Column A 'Proc_Grp' and Column B 'ADA_QSI_Desc'

For the properties in Combobox2, I left the RowSource empty. (that's correct right?) Because there's going to be a code that links Combobox2 to Combobox1... I think...

Userform Popup When Text Is Manually Entered

I am trying to get a user form to popup when text is manually entered into a certain cell. Right now the cell has a drop down in it that the user can select from a list of people. What I would like is that if the person is not in the dropdown list they can enter their name in the cell or select not in list and a user form will popup and ask them to enter their name and weight which will then be put into a different cell. This may be a complicated way to do this but the workbook is very complicated as is already and I cant figure out anything else to work.

Auto Populate 2nd Combobox Based On 1st Combobox Data

I need to populate two combo boxes from excel sheet, the data will be like below:

Column A Column B
A 1
A 2
A 3
A 4
A 5
B 100
B 101
B 102

So from the above data, one combo box should hold unique values A & B.

On selecting a value from the 1st combo box A or B, respective values should be populated in 2nd combo box.

So the data should be like below:

If A is selected in the 1st combo box, then 2nd combo box should only show the values 1,2,3,4 & 5.
If B is selected in the 1st combo box, then 2nd combo box should only show the values 100,101 & 102.

Friends I need it in a macro and one important point is, this is dynamic and it is not static and the data can be more.

Is it possible that i fill the CB.list with range().value so the values are in Column 'A' and in Column 'C' and if i enter the field and select value then i see value from column 'A' & value in Column 'C'?

Then if i pick one value then the CB.value = the value from Column 'A' only, Can i solve it some how?
