Compare Value In Cell To Row / Column On Another Sheet?

Basically I am looking for Excel VBA code to compare 4 cell values from 1 sheet to 4 columns on another sheet, but the 4 values on other sheet must be in same rows. I am but a VBA beginner and I have been trying for days with no luck. I want it to go something like this:
IF A5 (on sheet1) = 40 AND B5 < (A value in column M on sheet2) AND C5 < (a value in column E on sheet 2 but in the same row as the previous) AND D5 < (a value in column F on sheet 2, also in same row as previous 2) THEN display model from column C on sheet 2 also from same column into sheet 1 G5
for example (see attachment) on sheet1 if you enter 40 into A5, 3846 into B5, 1492 into C5 and 1999 into D5 Then "MODEL19" (from sheet2) should show up in G5. I had put in a 'button' but it is not needed if there is a better/easier way to do this.
I have I workbook that contains 2 sheets. The first sheet "Business Objects" is the master list. The second sheet "Gene" contains similar data but is incomplete. There is a unique identifer for both sheets and that is item ID. what I would like to do is look at the Item ID column on sheet1 compare it to SS# on sheet two and copy any rows from sheet1 to the end of the sheet in sheet 2. I have found in my searches on this forum a bit of code that identifies the ones in sheet1 that are not in Sheet2 and highlights them red(which is not neccessary for me, but I am struggling to figure out how to take that and paste it to sheet2.
I've been searching the forums for this problem but I can't seem to find any answers. Anyway, this is the problem. See screenshot.
I want to compare A1 for the values in column B, then return the corresponding cell (column C) in column D. e.g. D1 = 2, D2 = 1, D3 = 4, D4 = 5 and D5 = 3.
I need a macro that will look - this is hard to explain so will prob do wee diagram too but basically the macro nees to start looking at sheet2 A5 (the numbers start at A5 before that is text) see if it is greater than Sheet1 ColumnA & Less than Sheet1 columnB if the number is then I need Sheet2 ColumnD inserted into sheet 1 ColumnG. There is the text END on all columns on both sheets for the loop, the reason for the loop of course is there could be 100 lines in sheet2 ColumnA & I must look at all lines in sheet1 to see if it is greater than columnA and Less than ColumnB and if it is populate Column G.

What I am trying to do here is to compare 2 lists in 2 different files, and when there is a match, then copy and paste the related cells of the matching name. Sorry if this sounds messy, perhaps the sample file I have attached can explain better.
Every month I get a new file in the format of “Data Source” sheet where the list of banks in column A and the figures in column M, AA and AB might change from month to month. For the sake of convenience, I put the source data as a different sheet instead of different file here.
I have an existing report template in the format of “Final report” sheet where basically I copy and paste the relevant cells according to the name of the banks.
I don’t think I can use Vlookup because the cells that I want to extract are not right beside the search criteria. If I’m wrong please correct me.
Anyway, assuming a macro is needed for this, I am wondering if I can create a macro, where it can search the list of banks in column A in “Data Source” sheet based on the list in column A in “Final Report” sheet, then copy the correct cells from column M, AA and AB and then paste them into the correct cells in columns B, E and H in “Final Report” worksheet?
Note that not all the banks in the “Final Report” sheet are in the “Data Source”, so for this example, row 4 for ABN Bank should remain blank after the search because it is not listed in the “Data Source”. The Data Source List might also change over time.
There is also this problem of the bank names from the “Data Source” sheet not being exactly the same as the existing list in “Final Report”. For example in this file, ANZ Bank in the other sheet have all the extra stuff behind, but we know it is the same bank.
I am trying to do a macro that looks to see if the date is different from one cell to another going down in rows. I got it to work until the cell is empty then it says the date dont match but I just want it to stop the loop. so it should go down a list check to see if the date is the same all the way down the list, stopping if cell is blank, if not give a message box, if it is the same stop.

I need to compare column A of Original.test worksheet to column A of Supplier.test worksheet. If there is a match then copy entire row of the corresponding match from Original.test to Matched worksheet. If no match then copy that row into OnlyInOriginal worksheet.

I want to import data with a web-querie. The data consists of numbers in a column (14 cells).
I want to poll the info in the table in the webquerie every 15 minutes to see if the info in the table is changed. Therefore I refresh the info every 15 minutes, and when the info is changed, than the data must be put in a new sheet in a column and the columntitle must be the date and time that the info is put into the column. Can this be done in vba? I suppose that to compare the info of the new poll with the info of the previous polling the previous info must be put in a "compare" table.

I have 2 workbooks in Excel 2010, each contain just 1 sheet. (see attached) I need to compare on sheet 1, cell D1 and column A:A (this column will be much longer), with the data in columns C:C & A:A on sheet 2, if a corresponding match is found, the data contained in column D on the same row on sheet 2 is written to the cell with the matching data in sheet 1.
I want to compare two columns. I would like to see if the contents of column B appear anywhere in column A, for any amount of rows, and if it does, to place the match in col C.
So in the example below, red in B1 would be checked in A1 through A1000 or however long A is. When any row has red, place that match in that row for C.
This would be repeated until all rows in B are complete.
I have three sheet. named Sheet1, Sheet2 and Sheet3. Sheet1 being the master sheet. What I want to achieve is: I want to search for Name in sheet1 with the list of names in Sheet2, If the name is found, then compare the Age in Sheet1 and Sheet2. If the age matches make an entry in Sheet3 "matched" else "didnt match". If the name itself is not found on sheet2 , make an entry saying not found. I have two work sheets in excel, and I would like to compare the rows. Sheet1 will be the original data, and if sheet2 has a different number in column L the data needs to be copied over to a new sheet. In addition, I need the number in column L sheet1 copied over and subtract the two numbers. I need a formula that will look at a entire work sheet find a name, then find a date, and display a string from a cell in the date row.
For example I want it to first find all the rows that has "Jane Doe", then find a specific date from those rows, and then display a value from a cell in that row. Keep in mind that the there will be no consistency with the row data, but the column's are static.
I have several (Child) sheets of data which I need to compare to a (Parent) master sheet. If a cell in column "A" on a child sheets matches a cell in column "A" on the parent sheet, I need the row on the Parent sheet deleted so in the end, only the rows with no Child matches are left on the Parent sheet.
SalesImport contains sales data, and one column of that sheet is a unique reference number to identify the agent responsible for those sales.
Main contains much more data, and I need to transfer sales data from SalesImport to Main in the most efficient, automated way possible - on a monthly basis most likely... but possibly weekly or even ad-hoc at a later date... so it really does need to be quite quick.
At the moment I have come up with an idea to loop through each row on the SalesImport page, and for each row, compare the unique reference number (Column I) with the unique reference numbers on the Main sheet, (Column C). If they match, set the value of the sales column on Main to the same value as the sales column on the SalesImport sheet.
However, this is not working as i would hope, and doesn't copy anywhere near all the rows I know are found in both sheets.

I have a spreadsheet that lists something like this (an easy version of it anyway!)
On tab 1 of my spreadsheet I have a table with lots of data similar to:
Column A Column B 111 12.23 111 14.32 222 48.23 222 28.34 222 10.23 222 33.40 333 23.21
On tab 2 of my spreadsheet I have unique versions of the data Column A on tab 1, for instance:
Column A 111 222 333
I would like to have a formula on tab 2 that can compare column A on tab 2 with column A on tab 1 - if it is similar I want it to total the amounts for all of the values equal.
So for instance, on tab 2 the final data should be this in my example:
Column A Column B 111 26.55 222 120.20 333 23.21
I've seen formulas that are similar.. but the condition is it can only total the rows that match. And preferably can do this from the other sheet.
I wish to compare two sheets [Sheet1 and Sheet2] within one workbook and format the second sheet conditionally, based on an exact match to the first sheet.
Cell by cell, I can add the specific conditional formatting rule to each cell but this is tedious and its hard to see where I have applied the conditional format and where not.
So I tried to construct a macro to apply to a range of cells.
I tried to assign the logical result of the compare test to a cell outside of the range[lets say on Sheet2, A1] , and then format the range cells based on that logical value. I think my error is in conditional format criterion but I am a bit stuck.
at first i wrote company's name short so that i have to type less but now i want full name of company.....
like.....if in sheet#1 column B any company's name is started by Rel of sheet#2 column A , then the cell containing Rel is replaced by Reliance Industries ( sheet#2 column B but same row that of Rel) ........in sheet#1
The Master list: Sheet1, Column C has unique numbers, i.e, 0608-211-1093-2.
(can have thousands of entries)
The Comparison list: Sheet2, Column C will have duplicates of some of Sheet1, Column C numbers.
(Sheet2, Column C will have the numbers but other columns will have different data than Sheet1 and may have a few hundred entries or less)
I need a macro that will that will compare the two sheets for duplicates based on Column C and then write the entire row of Sheet1 with the duplicate number to a new Sheet3.
I have a workbook with two sheets imported from different sources. Sheet 1 is an AdHoc query from an Oracle 10g based program. Sheet 2 (PBIC 8 in my file) is a report generated from a property accountability program. The information from Sheet 2 is manually inputted into the Oracle program that generated Sheet 1.
I would like to have a macro that would compare the cell contents in columns "RegistrationNbr" (column S) and "SerialNbr" (column T) with the cell contents in Sheet 2 (PBIC 8). The match in Sheet 2 could be an identical match or part of a longer string. The matching cells in both sheets should be highlighted.
One thing to be considered is the column names in Sheet 1 will always be the same but the column letter designation may change base on the fields selected in the AdHoc query.
