I have a userform where I can select multiple items in a listbox and add them to another. I also have the ability to filter the first listbox to make finding items easier. The issue I am having concerns the clear filter button. As currently designed, the clear filter button will reset the initial listbox back to its default values. Ideally, I would like it to reset to the default values excluding those values that currently in the second listbox.
The entire code is below for reference, but it's the sub ClearFilter_Click that I am struggling with.

I have the following sheet which functions as a table to store values for files that have been created using the application which this table is in. In this app., I have a form with 2 listboxes. When the form loads, I have the first listbox list values which each of these files are listed under (i.e. - "sub-directories"). With a selection of one of the list values and clicking of a button, I want the second list box to list the values of cells listed in a range directly below where the selected value in the first listbox came from.
I'd prefer, in the first listbox, to have only the values of the ranges that have a value in them in the listbox. However, this would cause my listbox.selected(array) not function properly. But since my current offsets (in the second sub) do not seem to be working anyway, maybe I am going about this totally wrong.

I have 1 listbox (lisbox1) that retrieve it's list items from a worksheet range (imported/database query from access). This works fine.
I have a second listbox (listbox2) that should display results from clicking a value in listbox1.
Listbox1 contains companynames (1 column), listbox2 needs to be populated with quotes.
Range A3:D4800 contains company ID's, Company names, Quote Numbers. When I select a company name in listbox1, I need listbox2 to be populated with all quotes for that company.
I have tried (using vba) to do a vlookup using the listbox1 value, but I cannot seem to figure out how to populate listbox2 with "all" quotes. I get 1 quote and that's it. I realize I probably need to have the vlookup loop through each cell in the range to find the value, but when I try this, I get a type mismatch when using the .additem (only for the 2nd and subsequent passes).

I need to create a macro that searches for blanks in column G, from row 2 to the last row of the worksheet, and then inserts the value 1 in these blank cells.
I have been copy pasting different solutions from this site and amended them a bit, but my excel skill are not sufficient for this.

I have a list of product codes. Some of the cells in this list are blank, and it is assumed that the blank row is the same product code as the one above it. Is there a formula I could use to have the cells fill themselves in?
Example
DO-566
DO-566
<Blank Cell>
DG-233
<Blank Cell>
<Blank Cell>
..........
I've tried the following, but it only yeilded each of the cells having the same values. =if(isblank(A2),A1,A2). With this, I allowed circular references, but it still yeilds that same result stated above.

Data is in a horizantal list, say row 2:
A2: SAM
B2:
C2: MARY
D2: JOE
E2:
F2: DAViD
i.e. like this:
SAM-blank-MARY-JOE-blank-DAVID
I am looking for formulas (not VBA) to compact this list by removing the blanks so the new will be placed in K2, L2, M2 etc. as follows:
SAM-MARY-JOE-DAVID
This is a good article but only works on vertical lists:

I would like to use a formula in Column 1 (highlighted) which tells me if it relates to Fund 1 or Fund 2 using the Mapping table in column H.
Using the mapping table would be nice but no need to.

I have some great code that HalfAce provided a while back that I think will fit a project I am working on, but I can't see how to modify it to fit this one. I need to have it look at a location and provider and find the most "common" date. Then for that criteria fill in the lines with no dates with that "common" date. Here is the code that I need to modify for this
Sub FillInTheBlanks()
Dim LstRw As Long, _
DescRng As Range, _
AccntRng As Range, _
Desc As Range, _
Accnt As Range
LstRw = Cells(Rows.Count, "B").End(xlUp).Row
Set AccntRng = Range(Cells(2, "B"), Cells(LstRw, "B"))
Set DescRng = Range(Cells(2, "I"), Cells(LstRw, "I"))

I am in need of a solution (probably VBA) that can fill a range of cells with a formula IF they are blank. Ideally that range is a named range I can define in Excel. If that is too hard, then a hard coded column I hand-edit the script for is tolerable. Also, ideally, this script auto-executes whenever data changes on the sheet.
You formula I will populate is:
=IF(ISNA((VLOOKUP(B33,$A$32:$L$43,12,FALSE))+1),"",(VLOOKUP(B33,$A$32:$L$43,12,FALSE))+1)
..but a simpler formula can be stubbed in.
NOte that it does have relative references, so the script needs to adhere to normal EXCEL conventions of enumerating cell references.
If the script points to a refernce cell that contains the formula that is uber.
Maybe it should do copy and paste instead of a string replacement in order to leverage EXCEL's referencing?
I'm stuck on this, and this would be VERY useful for many of my sheets to be able to point to a refernce cell containing a formula to fill in.

at present i have data in column A That could look like
a1 = fred
a2 to a6 is blank
a7 =bill
a8 is blank
a9 = steve
a10 to a 20 is blank
what the idea is that a1 get copied to a2,a3,a4,a5,a6
a7 get copied to a8
a9 get copied to a10 to a20
these cells could vary on what information is in them and what cells contain information or not
my macro goes to a1 looks for the last cell with data in it then copies itto the cell below then loops back to a1 ans repeats itself
this macro takes about 1 minute to run as the column has about 5000 cells being used. is there a faster way to do this

Name Group
A bbbc
cdde

B asde

fffff
I have over 10,000 lines and wanted to know if I have to individually click the name and drag it down or is there a macro or formula to take the previous cell and fill down? This is the end result I would want to get all the previous cells to A to be filled in?

I have a spreadsheet where coloumn A contains either a blank cell, or a "X". There may be anywhere from 1 - 10,000+ "x"'s, spaced in col. a, but they are not spaced evenly, for example A1 may have an "X" A3,A4, A25, A28, etc... I need to find a way to merge the cells from the X to the row above the next "X" (so the X, and all blank spaces below it).

I am trying to work on a spreadsheet (I am very new to all this). I have colum I with dates in and Colum K with dates in... When a product comes into my shop I enter the date it arrived in Colum I and when it leaves I enter the date in Colum K.
What I would like to try to work out is how do I ask Excel to tell me How many blank cells there are in Colum K if I enter a date range for Colum I
I will try to give an example.
Colum K may have 200 entries for the week 6/5/13 to 10/5/13. I need to know how many cells are blank in Colum K if the date range on Colum I is between 6/5/13 to 10/5/13
The end result should basically tell me how much stock I have left in my shop for that week.
I have found something that sort of works by using this =SUMPRODUCT((I1:I200<=TODAY())*(K1:K200="")) but ideally I need to be able to change the word TODAY into a date range like 6/5/13 to 10/5/13 and I cant seem to do that???

I would like to find the blanks within a column. Using the available cell values above and below compute a sort of linear function then, using that linear function fill in the blanks in between. So the values are linearly increasing or decreasing (whatever the case maybe) to the next available nonblank cell value. spreadsheet attached.

I've been looking around to find something like this for a while and I'm pretty new to VBA, so I haven't figured it out myself yet.
Basically, I need a macro that can take a 7-column range and replace the values in all cells containing 0 (but not 10, 20, etc) with a blank cell so that a count function in another column can function.
When I just select the range and use 'Find and Replace' to remove the 0s, it alters 10s, 20s, 30s, any number that even ends in zero instead of just the value of zero itself,

I need a macro that will take the values that are in the far right cells and move them to an area on the left. the columns they will be pulling from are the IU & IV column starting with row 2 down to row 460. from there I need the values to be pasted into the D & E Columns starting at row 6. The two columns IU & IV are a date and a task for that date. When they are pasted into the columns D&E they will need to be sorted by dates (or just all of the blanks removed), with the soonest occurrence at the top. The reason for pasting values is because I have formulas pulling the tasks and dates off of another sheet. The last thing is that the macro needs to be triggered by the information in cell c2, when that cell is changed the formulas go to work and everything in cells IU & IV update. That is when I would like the macro to kick in and work the miracle.
I have been trying to build a colony of formulas that could do it, but I have given up, then I tried to make an array index it for me, but that wasn't working for me either.

I'm creating an excel sheet that is linked to several others. Basically my salesmen will enter their new prospects into their own sales sheets and that will transfer via a link to my main one. The problem I'm having is mainly with my sort.
When the information is transferred, I need the sheet to auto sort the Company names alphabetically and move any blank cells to the bottom.

I'm using links to pull our sales prospects from our salesmen's individual sheets into one master sheet for reference. Once the prospect information arrives in the sheet, I need it to sort alphabetically by customer name so that we can see which customers have been visited and don't visit the same customer twice.
So far in VB, I've been working on this
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
Range("A5:L" & Cells(Rows.Count, "L").End(x1Down).Row).Sort Key1:=Range("B6"), Order1:=xlAscending, Header:= _
xlGuess, OrderCustom:=1, MatchCase:=False, Orientation:=xlTopToBottom, _
DataOption1:=xlSortNormal
End Sub
But it's not sorting the way that I need to. All I really need is for the sheet to sort automatically by Company Name and for all of the 0's to go to the bottom. They are 'blank' data that will eventually be imported from the salesmen's individual sheets as they encounter new customers.
