Filter For Each Worksheet

I have a excel spreadsheet database that I do data entry on, and I do all kinds of filters for all kinds of situation.
I report everything from pass discharge dates, pass deadlines dates. So of them I would have to filter anywhere from one cell up to three or four more other cell. Insted of having to remeber which cells I have to filter every time I need to print a report.
I do have a status or stat sheet, but as you know this only report # or %... Is there away that I can display on a diffrent worksheet the same view as if I was to filter the first sheet that I work off? Most of the time I need to see names and dates of these entry to display.

Filter Row AND Columns In Worksheet?

how to filter rows AND columns in a worksheet. I filtered the one column in the spreadsheet (the main "yes, no, or n/A" for each row). Now I want to be able to filter each row. For example, if the column response is "yes" (most are), I want to filter each row to the "yes's, no's, or n/a's" for each column in that row (it's pretty long, from C to KS). I have attached a sample worksheet (the one I am working on minus confidential information).

Basically - I need to filter by a column and THEN, filter each row by the Yes's, No's or NA's in the columns associated with those rows.

I'm trying to filter a worksheet by certain columns but am not sure how to use the criteria range so a lil help would be appreciated!

for the columns: N,O,P,Q,R

I want to exclude rows with the values "N, N, N, 0, 0" under those columns.

How would i construct the criteria for that?

I am trying to filter data on one of my worksheets the column format is as follows:

supplier,product,price

the price it totaled at the bottom of the price column. I need to be able to filter by supplier to create a purchase order leaving all products by that supplier in the rows allong with the product name and the total price for that supplier. using the autofilter i can filter by supplier but the total cost remains the same. it is the Total cost that is causing me problems.

I have problem with a database, I want to export data that is linked on a autofilter to a new worksheet,but I don't achieve in doing this. basically I want to copy all the data of a column which is selected by the autofilter (but not on the column i want to export) to a new worksheet; the layout of the database is fixed and may not change. I have made a replica of the database showing the same kind of layout but with less data so it would like to export all data in column D that is actived from the active autofilter (which can change )

Filter Two Tables On Single Worksheet

I have a worksheet with two distinctly different tables of data. Is it possible to apply autofiltering to a column in both tables? Applying to one is fine but when I try to apply a filter to the second table the filter on the first one is canceled.
Aligning the tables so that the same column in both tables is the filtered column is not possible with the worksheet setup.

I need the macro to filter a table using the name of active worksheet as criteria. The code that I am writing is as below, but it doesn't seem work:

If I hard quote the name of the sheet then, the macro, unchecks all the criteria in the filter and does not show and row in the table.

now i have filtered data in a table, i want to use the results by printing off a table showing just these and the appropriate rows from other tables on worksheets. these all have a specific ID which is how they are traceable to each other. like a related field in an access database. two tables/worksheets are like so:

table1:
Reg No | Rank | Name | Initials | Troop | etc

table 2:
Reg No | JCLM1 | JCLM2 | SCLM1 | SCLM2 | etc

If i were to filter the second table by JCLM1 = YES then i want to create a printable list of all those but also to include the related records from table 1. is this possible?

On a first sheet, I have a list of cities where physicians travel along with an autofilter. On that same worksheet, I have a cell where users can input a zipcode.

On a second (hidden) sheet, a function calculates and displays in column F the distance in miles between the user-input zip code and all the cities in 4 states. The cities are listed in column D.

I need to filter all the cities on the first sheet (the ones where the docs travel) based on their distance from the user-input zipcode - namely all the cities located less than 150 miles from that zipcode.

I got the following code from Use AutoFilter to filter and copy the results to a existing worksheet and would like to incorporate this into my VBA project. The problem however is that this code were written to perform on one workbook and this is where my problem is. My project is between two different workbooks and cannot seem to get this code modified to do what it is supposed to do between these two workbooks. Everything I have tried so far failed. In short what this code would do is to check the existing data on the one sheet (the source) and extract only the data which is meeting my set criteria, and copy this data to the destination sheet. This is what I would like to do between two workbooks. With this the sample code as provided by Ron de Bruin. The sample workbook could be accessed trough the following link [URL]..... With this the code for matching and copying on one workbook.

Filter Locked Worksheet Conflict - 2000 Vrs. 2003

I recently launched a model that uses filtering on protected worksheets. The model was developed in Excel 2000, and everything works perfectly for the users who are also on 2000, but my Excel 2003 users get an error on opening the workbook.

The error asks for the password to unlock the sheet and is difficult to clear. Users have to hit Cancel 8 times to clear the error, at which point, the model appears to function perfectly. (There are 12 worksheets in the model, 2 with filters, all locked and password protected.)

The follwoing code is in the 'ThisWorkbook' module:

Unfortunately, i need to have the and condition, so i have to find a way in spite of this condition. Any way out ??

(2) If i enter values in A) E3 & F3 B) E3, F3, G3...then it ahould make multiple filtering possible. But when i try to apply such a condition, the same problem as in point (1) occurs, it takes the and empty criteria range as = " "

Filter OLAP Pivot Table Based On Named Range In Another Worksheet

I have a named range of values on Sheet2 (GPI). Sheet1 is an OLAP pivot table containing row label (GPI 14) and values (Net Rx Count) only.

Unfiltered this list is over 7,000 rows. I need VBA code to display only those rows where the GPI 14 value matches any value in the named GPI range on Sheet2.

In other words how can I display the select rows without manually selecting the items of interest AND without manually hard coding the values in the code as they will change.

Below is 1 of the many codes I tried. This appears to be the most intuitive but I get an 'invalid procedure" error at Set my PivotTable...

Advanced Filter Code - Criteria Range More Than 1 Row Breaks Filter

I found a great bit of Advanced Filter code that works great, and fixed a problem of clearing a cell breaking the filter.

But if I want to increase the criteria from 1 row to 2, so you can start to include And , Or operations, it breaks the filter. Even an attempt at a manual one fails, until you put the criteria range back down to one row, then it's fine again.

I've tried changing the Target Row to >2 but that didn't work. how to make the criteria range bigger, and no problems of breakage if you clear the cells? It makes for a very useful automated Advanced Filter.

The criteria range should be AZ1:BC3, but of course royally breaks it...

Excel 2013 :: Filter Date Using Timeline Filter

I just got into the world of PowerPivot, Excel 2013 and Pivot Tables and am in the process of creating a Dashboard which I will then be uploading to SharePoint 2013.

On top of page I added the new timeline filter which I've linked to my pivot charts. Now what I would like to do, is create an additional pivot chart which looks at whatever date range has been used in the timeline filter and subtract 5 years from that. So, when I select a date range of November 2013 - December 2013 in timeline filter, the additional pivot chart will show the details for November 2008 - December 2013. This is where I get stuck.

I'm using two SSAS cubes which I'm combining together in PowerPivot and then display in Pivot Tables and Pivot Charts.

Autofilter To Filter Cells With A Number Filter Of >= 4 And <= 5

I m trying to use an Autofilter to filter my cells with a Number Filter of is greater of equal to 4 and is less than or equal to 5.

But as you can see I would like to customise is using a range of 2 values which i have specified in Cell P1 and Q1.

I manage to figure out how to reference to this cell, but Im not sure how can i put my ">=" and "<=" operators into my code so i can get it to work exactly how i want as shown in Code 1.
