How do I create a formula that will count the occurrences on each row within the range F7:H106 where the single digit in FJ6 is paired with the 2 digit value in FF7. Match in any order.
example
If FF7=00 and FJ6=1 (Match 00 with 1 in any order)
f7:h7=010, match, count 1
f8:H8=059, no match
f9:h9=100, match, count 1
f10:h10=001, match, count 1
f11:h11=007, no match

I have an excel file, with roughly 1000 rows and about 6 columns per sheet of data, and about 10 sheets. I need to find combinations of numbers (in a single row) that match exactly with any of the other sheets.
For example, if Sheet 1 row 345 has the values (5,8,10,100,35,49), I want to find any other rows in any other sheets (including the sheet with row 345 values) that match exactly (5,8,10,100,35,49) and somehow identify a matching pair (possibly highlighting the cells).
I want to search every row in every sheet with all the rows/sheets in the excel file.
We could also probably add up all the values in a row into a 7th column, and find any of those #'s that match throughout the project (only in the 7th column), and I can go through and manually look for combinations myself.
I have a simple list of names with associated numerical values.
I would like to create a formula that will produce a series of all possible series of 8 of those names whose combined numerical values are at or below a certain threshold (or between two thresholds, if that's easy). Bonus points if the total combined value for each group is easily shown, but that'd just be gravy.
I have so many part codes in column A with their Group in Column B.I want to arrange in ascending orders only those part codes which have almost matching in Column A with other part codes with different group.Please see the attached file and expected result.
I have a spreadsheet that contains two input tables: Parallel and Perpendicular. Next, the user can select a group (from a drop down) which a certain entry belongs to. Now what I want is a "summary" of these entries in a table that has no blank rows and combines both Parallel and Perpendicular entries by the Group. There is no fixed number of inputs for any one group i-e the solution has to be dynamic.
Attached is a file illustrating the inputs and the required output. I would prefer a formula based approach but not against VBA based suggestions either.
I need to know how to find the best combination of combining these drums to get the highest average from each combination. Each combo will have 3 drums except for one which will have two and a half.
i found this vb code the other day on this forum from a post made way back in 2005 i think it was. I've found it really useful for what i wanted to do, but i wonder if it can be expanded or changed to allow for more sets of imformation.

I have another challenging solve for a VBA macro. So here it goes, as I have become frustrated trying to make an array formula with no joy. On my sample worksheet provided below this is what I am trying to accomplish:
(Solution cells) B4:I4 looks to the (Combination cells) M5:R10 for a match If a match is present then cell J4 gives a "win" , If no match then cell J4 gives a " lose ".
Next if a win is present in cell J4, then cell K4 looks for when the draw number that matches occurred on from cells A4:A10, then subtracts the two(e.g. solutions cells from combination cells) to give the actual " # of draws to a win ". If no win is present in cell J4, then the default is zero for cell K4
The formula would be copied down thru cells J4:K12
Please refer to sample worksheet attached so that you can understand more clearly of just what I'm trying to do.
The aim is to find those combinations of variable values which generate highest total gain. I attached the spreadsheet which shows the variables (A through K) and a Gain column. I created 5 additional tabs which show all possible 2,3,4 and 5-member combinations of the variables. These tabs are like coordinates of which variable combinations should be examined. As an example I used the first combination from the second tab = A and B. If you look at these two columns on the EXAMPLE CALCULATION tab you will see 7,7 in the Number combination which is the first number pair for these two variables. The headings of the red and the yellow columns calculate the total count for this number pair and the total gain. These were recorded on a separate EXAMPLE RESULTS tab along with some other pairs which appear afterwards (these were recorded only from the first 39 rows of the AB data). I need a macro which will cycle through each variable pair (only using the combinations from the tab 2 for now, annd later from 3,4 and 5 tabs) collecting statistics for each unique number combination it encounters (printing to a separate sheet one after one), such as shown on the EXAMPLE RESULTS.
I have a sheet that lists all of the suppliers that we use (A2:A10). I have code that pulls the total number of reject by month for each supplier (C2:C10). What I would like is a formula that takes those values for the supplier and places them next to each other in columns E (see E2:E6) and does the same with the total reject values next to the applicable supplier (see F2:F6) without all of the zeros.
I think it is some kind of index and match function but cannot figure it out. I have attached an example of what I am trying to achieve.
Also, if at all possible, I would like to know if there is a way to auto populate a chart with those values and not the blanks that are generated (row 7 down in my example) so that my chart does not contain a bunch of blank space.

I have been playing around with some data and can't seem to get it the way I want it. I have played around with Pivot tables and grouping but I can't seem to figure out how to accomplish what I need in Excel. To better explain I have attached some test data of what I am trying to accomplish.

I want to search or filter the list and find the only non matched record in the list and put this in another sheet ie max as this is the only unique name in the list, all the others are matched. Everything I have tried eg filter for unique records returns ian andy john david max, which is not what I want.
=MID(M11,FIND($V$6,M11),LEN($V$6)) I use the formula above to return the the matching word in v6, from text within m11. If theres is no match it returns #value. is it possible when theres no match to return "Not Match" in the cell instead
Alright: Sheet2 is a list of lines that have a parallel match, sometimes more than one. This example has 3 lines with slope 0.18 and I've added a few extra at the bottom for the sake of the example.
Worksheet Intersect is a working page where in the Bordered Box, highlighted in Green is full of parallel lines from Sheet 2. Sometimes there's none so I have a column to the right that says true if the line is on sheet2 and false if not. There's a helper column to the right to count up the trues and false.
I need to have laid out below, all the matches on Sheet2 to the green highlighted lines but not the original line that made the True. There could be lots of them, there could be one, this example has two for the slope of 0.18 and one for all the rest.
How do I write formulas to pull the matching slopes (column A) and y-intercepts (column B) from sheet 2, if there's an unknown amount and then list them on the intersect page?

details: I have in column X lots of names and in column Y (dynamic column anges as the users chooses them as per the code) and I want to loop through all names in 'X' and if there are multiple of the same names then for the corresponding 'Y' row entry of each be checked and if they are equal (same $ value) then for one of them of cells in the Y column to be cleared.
Basically if the same name appears more than once it will most likley have the same $ value and if i do a calculation on the $'s it will be 2,3,10 times the amount it should be, hence the need for this .
