I have this worksheet. What I have here is one activity ID with multiple information on BOQ and its related data. What I would like to have is just Columns A-J and move the required information in columns K-AS to H-J. The result of this will give me multiple rows of the same ACTID and one BOQ NO for each row....

So from below attached screenshot , say for an example macro shud filter rows that have "BigPond" in coloum B ,"RG2" in column M & "INT" in column W and i dont want all cells in these rows , i only want copy cells under column C,AK,AL,AM (in this order) to my other excel sheet that is named "BigPond" and it should paste it starting from Row5.
I want to avoid recording a macro as it selects a range and i am expecting more new rows every week so if a record a macro the cell range for selection changes and i get incorrect result.

What the MACRO would look like? This is for Excel 2010.
I am trying to find a formula to count rows that meet multiple criteria, but one of the criteria can be multiple values. I have a list of people with a list of clients that they are responsible for. Each person is responsible for 10-20 clients. Every day I run a report that shows the project worksheets submitted for each client and if money has been awarded or not.
I'm wondering if there is a way to count, for each person, the number of project worksheets that show "awarded" in column K. That would mean that I would have to look for, for each person, any of their multiple clients in column B and "awarded" in column K.
I am trying to put the formula in D2:D9, as I use A2:D9 for a chart. O1:P79 contain the names of the people and the applicants that they are responsible for. A17:D158 contains the list of project worksheets (updated daily). I used =SUMPRODUCT(COUNTIF(B17:B999,P1:P14)) to count the actual number of project worksheets for each person, but I can't figure out a way to modify that to add in the "awarded" criteria also.

I have a spreadsheet of prices (raw data), and I need to pull out both the most recent price for each item for a specific customer code for each item, as well as the second most recent price, (essentially the old price), for that customer code for each item.
I have columns for ITEM (code), PTC (Customer Code), PRICE, and EFF (Effective Date). For each item code, there are multiple prices for multiple customers, such as in the linked workbook.
I am currently using the formula, =INDEX(PRICE,MATCH(1,(F2=ITEM)*(G2=PTC),0)) to pull out the last price. This works because the last price is on top based on sorting. What I need is a formula that pulls out the next oldest price for that item/ptc combo. I tried using the SMALL function to no success.

I have a large spreadsheet that contains and employee number and then up to 5 entries of Dependants (each has its own column). What I need to do is have 1 for each of the dependant information instead of 5 and have multiple rows for the employee if they have more than one dependant.
At the moment I am sorting the data by dep 1 name, pasting the data into a new sheet, deleting all the dep 1 stuff, sorting by dep name 2 and pasting that.........etc.

I have a need to delete multiple rows with multiple criteria; criteria contains about 400 different and unique entries that have to be deleted. The code I obtained from this forum was modified but only deletes some entries and bypasses others. Row 1 is header and column 1 contains criteria that it it meets the " Case" it is supposed to be deleted. Example of code is below the Case has been shorted, for posting but normally each case runs the maximum length allowed. Please let me know where I messing up, I am thinking the it needs to be looping until all entries are deleted but I don't know how.

I'm currently doing a survey using an excel workbook that contains multiple questions across multiple worksheets using radio buttons linked to certain cells.
I have around 400 workbooks coming back to me, so what i want to do is take specific values from across many worksheets within each workbook and combine them into a large master table in a seperate workbook.
I've tried using VBA, but not being very proficient at it i've hit a brick wall with that, so i'm hoping that there is an easier way to do it than what i'm currently pursuing.
I've got data being scraped from a site, putting 1 new workbook in a folder each day
each workbook has 40 sheets in it.
i need to run 5 modules in sequence on a sheet then loop to the next sheet and run the same 5 modules.
ive writen all the modules, and can loop them through the sheets in sequence but i cant work out how to loop them through the each workbook in the folder..
is there an easy way to do this or can it not be done because it would need access to the folder that holds all the wordbooks which lives outside of excel on the desktop ?
I need a macro that can look at multiple (say three) rows and delete those rows if they match another three rows in the worksheet.

If three rows are the same, then one set is deleted (it can be either bottom or top set). I would like to do this for rows 1-500 in the worksheet.
I want to sort each row in an excel sheet so all calls are in alphabetical order without affecting any other row. I need to do this for about 500 rows. Is there any quick way of doing this without having to sort each row individually.

I've already omitted out the headers and footers blank spaces and unnecessary columns from the excel file and I needed to just combine multiple rows into one.

I have a 107k plus line spreadsheet with multiple lines per material as each material is extended to multiple sales organizations (countries). I have managed to get the piece of info I need into columns by sales org but still on individual lines. I need a way to put all of these values on one line by sales org. Also, I don't know macros or VBA so I need a formula way to accomplish this.

The "detail" sheet is downloaded from another software package. There may be one to five rows of Product #'s with their component # and percentage on the same row. I would like (on a new sheet) put one Product # and all the corresponding component #'s and percentage's on the same row. (An example of how I would like it to be is on the "one row" sheet.)

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have been trying to auto update a table by looking up information from a table on top. However, for the top table there are multiple entries in the same column, and my look up only checks the first row and ignores the rest.

What I need to do is to get all 5 rows into one row and duplicate the headers so row 1 has all fire rows of information one column after the next comlumn. If I can't duplicate the headers easily and can just aggregate the data into one row in cell by cell that fine.
