Below is (1) the excel code I'm trying to fix; and (2) the working code for my PDF function. When I run the macro to save the excel worksheet in a new workbook, it creates the sheet in the a separate workbooks, but then gives as Run-time error '9': Subscript out of range." When I run debug, the line in red is what's highlighted. So it's not liking something with the filename/path??(1)

About 2 weeks ago Reafidy posted a reply to the following thread. Save Individual Sheet Based On A1. As I do not want to hi-jack anyone elses thread so I am starting a new one. The code posted does basicly what I need however I was wondering if it is possible to save only "ONE" specific sheet which could be specified in the code, to a specific folder specified in the code and under a name defined by a cells contents. eg.
Save a single sheet named "MatData" from a workbook, name the saved sheet from a "named range on sheet1" & "Cutlist" & ".xls"
to a Folder on the "D" drive called "Saves"

I've tested and I'm getting errors trying to reference a range in a specific sheet.
I want to sum a range for further calculation and can get this to work perfectly if I don't specify a sheet - but it sums the range in the wrong sheet as the code is within a With statement range:
[Code].....
I've checked that wsSumm contains the 'Summary' worksheet value and that's all fine, I've also tested the following:
[Code] ....
I've also tried replacing wsSumm with Worksheets("Summary") and Worksheets(1), but get exactly the same results, so no it's not a fault with the worksheet variable. Also tried using Application.WorksheetFunction.Sum, but again exactly the same results.
So, why I can't sum the range on the specified worksheet? Is is something to do with being inside a With statement for another worksheet - though I've not come across problems with this before...

Cell's date is at least a week or more in the future

Hello, what I would like to do is take a portion of a sheet..... So the cells I want to mirror are in the proposal sheet cells B32 x F51. And then mirror the exact duplicate copy to another sheet. The other sheet should have those same values at A20 X G39. What I am trying to do is have a sheet that has skus, prices, and so forth and then when I add,delete, merge, color, or do anything to the cell on the "proposal creation" sheet I want it to mirror only a specific cells to another sheet that is "salesman copy" that we will print to clients. So this way ont he proposal copy a salesman can insert rows or even change the color of the cells and then have it mirror exactly the same on the "salesman copy" which is what we will print for clients.

how, via VBA, to save a worksheet ("ForExport") from my workbook into a new file (type CSV). To provide additional difficulty (not by my choice), the users will all have their own directories on the network to save their files into. These directories will NOT be mapped drives (e.g., "C:") but rather will be UNC paths (\parentusername)
So, obviously the filename and location are both rather dynamic, depending who is using the excel template.
The workbook has three sheets:Base Form (sheet 1)ValidationResources (sheet 2, provides data for menus/validation)ForExport (sheet 3, contains data written to it from the Base Form)
The workbook has fields to capture UserName, FileName (without an extension), and FilePath.UserName = captured by VBA code from the users login informationFileName = concatenated field based on some other fieldsFilePath = concatenated field of a set parent path (\parent) plus the UserName (so, \parentusername)What I want to do is have a macro that takes the ForExport sheet, saves it as a CSV file (with the file name from the field holding that info) into the directory I've specified in the FilePath field.
Is what I'm trying to do even possible? I have a sample workbook I can provide if you need something to work with. Not sure if I can attach it here.

I have an Excel invoice set up and working well. It does a bunch of things with macros - e.g. on save it increments the invoice number well as creates a jpeg screenshot for the invoice archives. I have added an additional worksheet (titled 'VAT') to the workbook. The new 'VAT' worksheet has five simple columns; Invoice no, Subtotal, VAT, M.O.T. and Total.
What I need:-
On saving the workbook I would like to add a macro function that copys the final contents of the Invoice no (H2), Subtotal (C37), VAT (C38), M.O.T. (F38) and Total (I38) cells from the 'Sales Invoice' worksheet to the newly created 'VAT' worksheet in the respective columns. I would like this to be cumulative, i.e. continue to add the contents of the afore mentioned cells to the appropriate columns in the 'VAT' worksheet every time the invoice is saved. I would also like to have the Subtotal, VAT, MOT and Total columns summed and outputted in a cell of their own - but hopefully I can handle that.

I have an Excel 2003 spreadsheet with multiple sheets - one main one with all data and others which have only the data that falls into certain criteria. I'm wondering if there's a way to enter the information on the main sheet and have it automatically populate the correct "sub-worksheet" depending on what is entered in a specific column.
I'm not describing this well but I've attached a sample of what I mean.

I am struggling with working with specific cells from specific sheets. e.g.
I want to make a label display teh value of a specific cell.
(i is the row number of the cell i'm interested in)
'now make labellaptime.caption = the cell (i-1, 3) of sheet1(jules)
'LabelLaptime.Caption = i - 1 'works no problem
'LabelLaptime.Caption = Application.Worksheets(Sheet1).Cells(i, 3) 'laptime
'LabelLaptime.Caption = Application.Worksheets(1).Range("i-1,3").Value
'LabelLaptime.Caption = Application.WorksheetFunction.VLookup(
'LabelLaptime.Caption = Range("c3") 'works no problem
'LabelLaptime.Caption = ThisWorkbook.Worksheets.("sheet1").range("c1").value
I've based all this on the book i'm trying to learn from but it doesn't work and (obviously) i don't know why...
(plus any links to info on how to work with specific cells on specific sheets e.g making a variable = to the value of a cell(x,x) of sheet 3)

Private Sub Worksheet_Change(ByVal Target As Range)
If Target.Cells.Count <> 1 Then Exit Sub
If Target(1, 1).Address = "dataentry!H5:IV72" Then
If Not Intersect(Target(1, 1), Range("dataentry!H5:IV72")) Is Nothing Then
On Error Resume Next
Application.EnableEvents = False

I need a formula or VBA macro to do the following:
I have 2 worksheets, namely sheet 1 and sheet 2.
Sheet 1 contains data in columns A to H.
Sheet 2 contains data only in column A.
I want Excel to check the data found in column A of Sheet 2 with those in Column A of Sheet 1. Hence, when an exact match is found in Column A of Sheet 1, Excel will delete that entire row.

I tried th efollowing, but this doesn't seem to work. I simply recorded a macro doing what I wanted it to do (orange) but replaced the reference to the sheet with what I thought would be the choice the user made (green)
Do While continue = vbYes
UserFormware.Show
Cells(16, 4) = UserFormware.ListBox1.Text
Cells(18, 4) = UserFormware.TextBox1.Value
Sheets("UserFormware.TextBox1.Value").Select
Range("E35").Select
Selection.Copy
Sheets("Calculator").Select
Range("E35").Select
Selection.Paste
If UserFormware.ListBox1.ListIndex = -1 Then
MsgBox "You must select an item"
End If
Unload UserFormware
continue = MsgBox("Do you want to add another warehouse?", 4)
