VBA Array Formula With Row Count Of Another Sheet?

I am trying to use an array formula based on column A of sheet 1. Also using column A of sheet 1 last row ref for Sheet2 Array formula.
I have attached the document in here "Sample.xlsm"
When I run the macro for the dates, all I got is just "Date". I just want unique dates using the array formula which work without using VBA but the column A in Sheet1 is a dynamic sheet.

I need a formula to count the total number words occurred in an array. It has to separate the "," and count.
Here is a scenario:
1.Apple
2.Banana
3.Orange
4.Mango
5.Banana
6.Mango
7.Orange
8.Apple, Banana
9.Banana, Mango
10.Mango, Apple

I have this array formula
=IF(ROWS(A$11:A13)1,IF(MSB!$A13"",SMALL(ROW(Table1[APP DATE])-ROW(MSB!$A$11)+1,ROWS(A$11:A13)),""))))
the problem is that when both if statements are true i want it to get the row number, this is because table1 has blank rows (can not be avoided as the data is linked from a closed workbook)
i can see this works up until it meets the first blank row and i get #value error.
on table1 data exists on row 1,2,5 and 8 so my problem is getting the small function k to report these numbers?

I would like to have vlookup formua. And I would like the sheet for the table array section be linked to a cell value. So in my workbook this is my vlookup formula:
=VLOOKUP(B2,sheet1!B2:C8,2,FALSE)
I would like to to be something like =VLOOKUP(B2,(=b3)!B2:C8,2,FALSE). This way I can change the value in B3 and the vlookup formula will look for values in a different sheet as opposed to the one I originally designated in the formula.

I have 7 sheets including the table as you can see on the attached. Now, each sheet is allocated to individual items e.g. item 10, item 20 and so on. I can't figure out how to return all the Item 10, 20, 30 ... to the corresponding sheet. It says Item 40 to all sheets.

I'm trying to insert the counta formula in the sheet "summary". The number of rows in the spreadsheet will sometimes change which is why I'm using the End(xlDown).Select feature. The end goal is for the code to insert the COUNTA formula for each column in the summary spreadsheet, and at the bottom.
Code to insert formula into bottom of Column A:

Say I have 3 columns of data: A1:C10 and I want to run a Match() function on them all together to see if I get a match any one those cells, say the value of have in X1.
Since, Match only allows a One-Column lookup array.. is there a way to "concatenate" or "append" the 3 columns together within a formula so now I would be looking to Match in an array that is 1 column * 30 rows?
Basically want to convert =Match(X1,A1:C10,0) to =Match(X1,A1:A30,0) without moving around the raw data in the sheet.
And I want to avoid doing an AND or OR formula that uses 3 separate MATCH() for each column.
I have a hunch that the MMULT or MMULT/TRANSPOSE functions are involved, but can't seem to get it right.

i have this worksheet to fill out, i will attach it if anyone wants to take a look at the whole thing.. but, basically, i need a command where it will look at gender which is in column c, then age which is in column d, then gpa to count it, which is in column e, the gpa its looking for is >=3.0... and that is only one criteria.. an example is g=m, a=15 or above, gpa = >=3.0.. i also think i messed up on another part.. ...

I am working with imported survey data - all the questions are sorted by columns with each respondent's answer in rows. One open ended question on the survey asks people in which states they have lived, so each response cell can contain multiple text values if they have lived in multiple states (and they often respond in full sentences - as in, "we lived in Texas for three years then moved to Arizona"). How do I search all the rows in that whole answer column to count all the mentions of each state? (To complicate matters, the search cannot be case sensitive - although I guess I could do a find and replace to fix the variance).

I have a workbook with several sheets, some are permanent and then there are certain sheets whose quantity varies depending on how many sub-contractors we use on a given job. The workbook starts as a template and there are 10 sub-contractor sheets to start with, if we only have 5 subs then the last five sub sheets are deleted. The sheets start out with the tabs named "Sub 1" "Sub 2" etc. but after the book is set up the sheet tab names are changed to the sub name. I've included some partial code below, with the goal being to run code on the sub-contractor sheets no matter the tab name or how many there are.
So the workbook has 5 "non-sub" related sheets, I was thinking that if I could do a sheet count -5, and get that number into the array it would accomplish what I want to do. And if someone added a new sheet it would still be processed with the others.

I want is a field (e.g Large Parts Used) where I can enter in a number, then basically this number is subtracted from current stock field for Large Parts so I get an updated field of current stock on hand.
But what I want to do is once I've entered the number in the Large Parts used field, I can then clear that field but have the corresponding Current stock field to maintain what was last enetered.
E.g
Large Parts Current Stock = 50
(enter in) Large Parts Used = 2
Large Parts Current Stock = 48
(Clear field where 2 was entered into Large Parts used)
(Field still stays at Large Parts Current Stock = 48 although field where 2 was entered was cleared, so need it to save the information so can continually clear and re-enter amounts and have the stock continue to reduce)

going down are stores a, b, c, d.... what i'm filing in across is the square feet of each store and what quartr or year each store came into place. so there will either be a 0 or a number Now, I want to be able to count the number of nhew stores each quarter. how do i create a formula that just recognizes it the first time there is a number and not a zero... because i will put the square feet in subsequent quarters after it opens so i can see yearly how many square feet the store had. then also, how can create a button on the page that will say quarterly numbers and a button that is annual. so that i can hide the quarterly columns and just see an annual spreadsheet... and for the quarterly button so i can hide the annuals and just see the quarters....

How can I count the number of elements of a particular dimension of an array variable that have actually been filled with items/values?
For example, the array variable in this procedure has two dimensions. Dimension 1 has three elements, and dimension 2 has 5 elements. I then add values to some, but not all the defined elements of dimensions. How can I count, for each dimension, the number of elements that have values rather than are empty?

I have used macro to ftped a couple of files to my desktop and save them in a folder but i have problems performing the following.
1) Count the number of files in this directory "C:Summary_Reports_from_VBA". Note that the number of files is not fixed every time.
2) Rename each files to .txt files. (intially files do not have any extension and we do not know the name of the file until it has been ftped over but all files will end with a term "sorts" eg renaming of "xxxsorts" to "xxxsorts.txt")
3) Save each renamed files in an Array such that i can "opentext" each file in an excel worksheet. So if there's multiple files, there will be multiple worksheets.

I am trying to come up with a formula that will count everything excluding 1 in one row, while looking at another row to determine the group.
The attached example explains things a lot better.
I am going to have 2 formulas. 1 for the "Big" group and one for the "Small" The formula needs to look first at the column that has the group in it. Then it needs to count everything is column A excluding "Snake" And return the value.

I have a transactional data set with a line for each transaction and I am looking to count the number of documents (each contains multiple transactions) against criteria.....

Is there anyway to do this without subtotalling for each document and then a count?

I have been using the wrong formula to count total entries in columns and only just found this error. The MAX formula in cell B4 is: =MAX($B$12:$B$36). If the all the rows are full within range F12:F36, then the MAX formula is fine to count the total within range B12:B36 (25) so I thought. But sometimes there are omissions between F12:F36. If there are 2 blank cells anywhere within F12:F36 for example, then B4 needs to show 23 respectively. In the sample WkBk B4 needs to show 8
