I 've a table of data It begins from A4 :f last row
In "A"column dates and in the other coulmns from b:f different data

in cell "g4" Iwil write the new sheet name
In cell "h4" I write the starting date
in "i4" I write the end date

the starting date and the end date are equal to values in range (A:A)

now

i want a vba code to select the part of table which starting with the row where is the starting date-("h4" ).value- is found in range(a:a) ,and the end of the selected part of table can be difined according to the "I4" value.
after selecting this part of date i want to copy it to sheet according to G4 value

I want to build a database where the user can select a specific time period. I have a static file with the time periods and the related values. For instance I have in column A1:A15 the time periods from January 2011 to Dezember 2011, but I have some dates multiple times as there are more values attached to it. For instance I have in the first 4 rows January 2011...what I want is when someone puts in the value January 2011 in cell B1 and Dezember 2011 in cell B2 that the whole static file gets copied to another location (including the multiple dates) displaying the chosen time period. Similarly if someone puts in the value March 2011 to November 2011, I want only those values to be copied.

Copy And Paste Range Of Cells Based On Number Of Cell Values In Column A

Please see attached sample worksheet. Column A will be generated by the user manually.

I'm looking for a way in VBA to have A1:D20 in Sheet2 copied and pasted in the "Bank Reconciliation" Sheet based on how many "Markets" there are in Column A. Then, once that's complete to have A22:D30 (the smaller box in Sheet2) copied and pasted directly below those results.

I have what the macro would hopefully generate to the right in "Bank Reconciliation" (B6:E54) as an example. So if there's a market in A1, copy and paste the box to B6. If there's a market in A2, copy and paste the box directly below the first (B26) etc. etc. until it's done, then paste the smaller box directly below whatever the macro generates.

Open Workbook Where Named Cell Contain Name & Path, Copy Range And Paste Values

I am successfully opening a .csv file using a variable value stored in a named range in my Main file (the variable includes the directory and path).
I copy data from the .csv file to the Main file then I need to close the .csv file without saving but I want to do that by using the

Windows("xxxx").Activate

command where "xxxx" is the namedrange in my Main file which stores the .csv filename (without the directory and path prefix).

I can use the

ActiveWindow.ActivatePrevious

command but if I have another workbook open, this one closes instead of the .csv file I opened from the macro.

I realise this is probably very basic and I've searched the forums but can't find any identical postings.

Select Range To Copy, Find Values And Copy

I have a base document that i can import another data document with a button (this is working).

I then have another WS ("search") in the base document with lots of identifiers which I want to use as my search range to look through the document that I just imported (column A).

I need a msg to ask the user what month they would like to find the $ value on (Ie, January) in the imported WS... this way it doesnt copy the entire line only cell in the selected month column.

Then I want to the user to be able to click a button that will check through the identifiers on the "search" WS and if the same identifier appears in the imported WS in column A, then for the $ value in the column selected to be copied to the search Range work sheet.

If the idenfifier is not matched then in place of the $ value copied can be the string "no in XXX WS" .

I have attached the document with dummy data in each work sheet with details more cleary what I have meantion above.

write a script to match a cell value then copy and paste the matching row across two worksheets - "Master List" and "Demographics".

These two worksheets have the same cell values in Column A, the key difference is the Column A cell order in the second worksheet "Demographics". This Column A cell order is set arbitrarily by another system and will vary over time.

I would like to match the rows, then paste the three columns from the second worksheet into the first worksheet.

For example:

"Demographics" Worksheet Cell A2 = "Master List" Worksheet A45 - then copy cells A2, B2 and C2 and paste into A45, B45, C45 respectively.

"Demographics" Worksheet Cell A49 = "Master List" Worksheet A12 - then copy cells A49, B49 and C49 and paste into A12, B12, C12 respectively.

Copy Values Outside Of Numeric Range

I have around thirty columns I manually search using AutoFilter to find values outside certain ranges. The ranges are different for every column and I copy/paste the out of range values onto another sheet. I am wanting a marco to do this for me.

Here is what I have worked up so far. I thought Select Case would be the easiest to adapt for each column by just changing the values.

Column K is the first of the columns I sort. The code above seems to be trying to paste the entire column rather than only the cells with values outside the range.

What would be the best way to select the cells which are out of the particular range?

Copy Values Between Specified Number Range

In the code below I am trying to scan a column and copy the values -.03 and lower OR 0.3 and greater. I selected a case to do nothing if the value is within the range of -0.2 To 0.2 but this configuration will still copy over -0.2 and 0.2 values along with the ones outside this range. I tried using -0.3 To 0.3 but that skipped the 0.3 values.

Is the negative throwing this off? The code works perfectly, it just brings the twos with it.

I want to press a commandbutton and fillacrosssheets but I only want to fill the values, no formatting, no formulas.

The following code works, but carries over the formulas and values.
I tried changing xlFillWithContents constant but without success.

Copy Non Blank Cells & Paste As Values To Another Range

I'm trying to copy the non blank cells in an area ("B120:K239"). and special paste (values only) to the next blank row of the actual work area (3 pages) within the worksheet. The area that this needs to paste to is between("B10:K29, B44:K63, B78:K97"). Problem is that if there are more rows to be copied and pasted then there are open rows on the first sheet it gives an error due to the rows outside those areas having different formats (merged cells and that)

Question: Is there anyway to special paste between ranges? I've tried to hide the inbetween rows and that still doesn't work. Could it be possible to add something to this code to ignore hidden rows or to only paste to visible rows?

VBA - Lookup Value Found In A Column Within Another Range And Copy Adjacent Values

I'm trying to create a macro that can lookup values down a list, find that value within another list and copy the adjacent cells.

The values to look for will always be on the same column and the values to look into will always be in the same range or columns but not always in the same row.

For example.

AI:AI contains a list of ID's which will be manually input every day so they might have a different order.

C:AF has all the data to look into. C always being a list of ID values and I want for every ID found on AI:AI to be search for on C:C: and then once a match is found, I need specific adjancent cell values to be copied next to the ID found on AI.

The values that need to be returned are found on columns B,D,F,G,H,I,J,P,AF and they will always display on those columns.

I've been doing this based on vlookup and INDEX/MATCh formulas but I've come across some limitations for something I want to develop further so I'm trying to do this based on VBA.

Find Matched Value In A Range For Named Cell Then Copy Range Cells Below

I need method, using a button, that looks at a cell--say EO2, for example--, looks back on a master worksheet at a specified row and range for a match, then looks at the information from a specified range below the matching cell (The information in this column will either be blank or have an "X" in the cell), and then those rows that do not have an "X" will be hidden in the corresponding rows in the working worksheet. Therefore, if at any time the value in "EO2" ever changes, then it will automatically find a new match and repopulate and hide information as before. About 130 columns will have its own button so that a "query" can be made that depends on the information in a particular cell in that column.

The master worksheet now has matrix of 287 rows and 58 columns. Each row is for an operating procedure and each column shows a job code. An "X" in a coordinate cell for a column/row shows whether that job code is responsible for knowing that operating procedure. So, on the working sheet, an employee's primary job code is given underneath his or her name. When the button is pushed, all the operating procedures not required for a given person will be hidden and only the required ones will remain visible--grouped, if you will. Qualification dates will be easier to see now that the information is consolidated. Whenever someone transfers to a new position, a new code will be inputed on the working sheet. When the button is pushed, a new grouping will result. Any operating instructions that overlap will still have qualification dates, so that information will not need to be transcribed.

Basically I have three sheets. MAIN, Sheet 1 and Sheet 2

Sheet 1 and 2 are in the same format

A3 down is a list of country names and then B3:I71 contains the data im interested in.

I've been trying to create a function that looks at B3:i71 to see if any cell in that range contains a value greater then $0.00. If it does then the row that contains the cell with a value greater then $0.00 (between col A to K) should be copied to sheet MAIN from cells B3 down. This should ultimatley produce a list of data for any row containing a value greater then $0.00. This process should then be repeated on Sheet 2 and should join the list below sheet 1.

I've attached a workbook which contains two sheets:

DEVICE_PAYM

Data is updated on DEVICE_PAYM each day with the figures I need located in column "AN". I need to be able to copy the data from "AN" and paste it into a column on the PAYM sheet. The destination column on the PAYM sheet needs to be specified by inputting a specific date - ideally, I would like to use the calendar Add-In as part of this process. I have created a macro by recording my actions. Works great, the problem is, because the Cells that are copied are at the top of the sheet, and the cells to paste it, are at the bottom, when you run the macro, the page jumps like a mad hatter at a hatter party!!

Excel 2010 :: Find A Cell Within Range Then Copy That Cell To Another Location

(I am using Excel version 14.0.7106 and MS Office Professional 2010.)

I have a macro in which I have named a range of numbers in a spreadsheet, used the "find" function to find a particular number in that range, and now would like to copy some information into a cell in the same row as the found number. However, when I try to move over to the cell that I'm copying to, it only goes to the 1st row in the range that I have defined.

Here's the portion of code I think you need to see. Everything works...it finds a match...but then I don't know what to do from there to get the information to the correct row:

Tried all day to find a way of selecting text ( from several cells) on one sheet and then having it pasted into the textbox on another sheet.
