I am looking for a copy and paste loop solution that will copy the data from each page and sequentially paste the results on a singular output page in descending order (worksheet 1 data, worksheet 2 data... etc) so that I can sort the data.
The code below pulls information based on what i specify in a userform from another sheet.
I am trying to total the last 3 columns but for some reason the code sticks the sum formula right in middle of all my information. However, when i run the code (the exact same way) again then the code puts the sum underneath the last row as indicated in the code. How can i get the code to run right the first time around?
I want to bring some scattered rows in data range directly underneath the appropriate columns
Here is the description of manual way of doing the same task.
1. first, I check for last empty rows in column "M" i.e for country(By pressing CTRL + Down arrow key in column "M") and then i look into the immediate next empty rows where is the date values, usually i found it into next rows but in a different columns. so i copy the range one cell before from date values till last columns in that same row and i bring it back to the original row where it should be indeed.
For example after pressing CTRL+down arrow key in columns "M", If i see date values In next immediate rows "E7". I copied from "C7" or "B7" (one cell before date value cell) ,depending on In which cell the date value is sitting till last columns i.e "N7" and paste it manually to "D6". and I do repeat the same work manually till i aligned all rows to their proper place.

the situation is i have a sheet, contains like 500 cells, from A1, to T500, some of the cells are blank, then i figure that from cell A1 to E500 not all the words in capital, so i make it with upper on the2nd sheet, then, i copy + paste value back to the first sheet (A1 to E500)
i get wht i want, but why it's like there's no blank cells anymore on my worksheet.
like you know, if u want to jump from a filled cell to the blank cell, you would hit Ctrl + Down, it jump to the very end of the datas that i paste value before.
so when i hit Ctrl + Down from A1, it jumps to A500, meanwhile the filled cells only 10 cells.
I'm working on this macro that copies data on sheet1 from A2:AI2 till the last non-blank row in the same range i.e. A:AI and paste it on sheet2 in the first blank row. However, my code keeps picking up A1:AI1 from sheet1 as well and pastes it on sheet2 just before the data that I actually want to paste. Here's my code:

I have attached a sample workbook. The list of file name is in sheet 1. An example of the output is in sheet 2. The data in column A is dummy data generally spans 100's of rows not just 10 as in the example.
The purpose of the code is to be able to put a list of file names in column a in sheet 1 and extract data from those files in a folder. The data extraction works fine. The reson for adding the file names is so that I know what file the data came from.

Basically, what I'm trying to accomplish is to have a certain range from one file copied, and pasted in the next available (empty) row of another file. While debugging I see that everything is working except for the actual pasting.
I have spent several hours searching the forum but have not been able to find any code that I could tailor to my specific need.
Basically, when I press a button on a 'Util' sheet, I need to cut every row on the 'Source' sheet with 'Closed' in column 'B', paste the rows to the next blank row on the 'Closed_Requests' sheet, and delete the resulting blank row from the 'Source' sheet.
I have a blank file and a data file for current year with formulas.
So I am trying to take a couple of tabs from current year data file and pasting them into the blank file.
My question when is do that all the formulas get referenced to the current years file. i want to keep the same formulas but reference the tabs on blank file.
Is there a quicker way to do this rather and going into all the cells and changing reference from current years files data to blank files data.
I get reports weekly that contain too much information. Using "IF - LIKE - THEN" in my macro I copy and paste only the relevent data from the new work sheet to a separate worksheet.
It works fine except, it pastes over the previous data instead of below it overwriting the old info. Please have a look at my code, How do I instruct it to paste in the first empty row?

I enter values in worksheet 1 that calculate a comparison of 2 items.
I recorded a macro that pastes these 4 rows into worksheet 2 and clears data entered in worksheet 1.
So far - easy.
What I would like to do is find some code that would let me enter new values in worksheet 1, and when the macro is executed, it would find the first blank row on worksheet 2, skip a row, and paste the info.
By doing it this way, I would be able to keep adding new items, compare them and add them to worksheet 2.

I have been tinkering with a code for a few days now and managed to finally get it working . The Code basically copies data from one spreadsheet (Macro Tester6), opens up another spreadsheet (Macro Tester Master), pastes the data, Saves the file (Macro Tester Master) and then closes it.
The Macro Tester6 file is then left open as I prefer.
The problem I have is that the data always paste into the same row, hence overwrites data already inserted.
the code finds the next blank row to paste the data in.

Whenever I skip blank cells during the paste to the new sheet Excel does not skip anything. Any ideas on how I would shift all data to be on the left side of the without copying the blank cells.

This should open my file, find the relevant data and copy it to the worksheet that contains the macro. At present I can have it paste to the first cell however in future the first cell will have data and as such i need it to paste to the first blank cell in column A. any ideas on how to do this, do i need to get excel to scan from the bottom cell up until it finds a cell with data then paste below it? if so how do i do that.
