Basis On 1st Column Automatically Select Input For 2nd Column From Another Worksheet

I have 02 separate excel workbooks
01 = source file
02 = data list
The workbook "source file" contains all the data
The workbook "data list" contains data for work with Drop-down list. And i can easily select my required description by just dropping down the list.
In case, i have new description i add it in the source file and it is updated in the working "data list" sheet.
This applies to Field device column also. But i want to improve the selection criteria by creating such script or formula which could check the input of the description and automatically selects the field device and its relevant signal (output type).

i want to generate sheet automatically from existing sheet applying auto filter on specific column. i attached the sample which 3000 rows actually i have more than one lac rows so i have to put filter on sub_div column and then copy and paste to another sheet and give the name of sheet like F21. i want to do automatically this provide vba code or function for this

Here is my delimma. I am using the standard InputBox for my users to input the number of errors found for each category in a record from a daily report. The problem I having is that every time the user types in data using the InputBox it overwrites the previous days numbers. I need to set up the InputBox code so that after the user has input the numbers for that day that the next time the InputBox is used it selects the next column to the right and continues to do this for each day.

I would like to be able to output the rows in the attached spreadsheet to separate sheets on the basis of whether they have a Y or an N in the four rightmost columns - i.e. I want to make SOLO, DUO, TRIO and FULL BAND sheets.
I would ideally like these sheets to update automatically when I change the data in the main spreadsheet.

I have excel data file where the code can split the data into different xls file on the basis of country for first sheet only.
execute the code so as to create single country wise files for all sheets. i.e. file consisting of data with sheet A1,B1,C1. The present code works only for sheet A1 and it creates different files with data related to that country. I was looking for the output file with B1 and C1 as well for that country. Also new output file needs to be renamed just as of original one.

I am looking for a Macro that will search a column for blank cells, and when one is found will add text to the same row in another column. For example: The below is a spreadsheet. I am trying to find something that will search through column "C" in this case and add text (of my choice) to Column "A" if the cell is Blank. So Since cell C1 is Blank then Type "ERROR" is cell A1.

I'm trying to write a simple VBA code to loop through values in the range A14:A138 and based on the value (of a possible four values) in any row of that range, populate the adjacent column in the same row with a conditional result. For example if A14 = "Cat", then B14 = "I"; if instead A14 = "Dog", B14 = "II", etc. If there is no value in column A, the result should be blank (i.e. "").
I believe are in coding the destination range since I can get it to work for just one cell in B! Below is my code that is not working...

how to make a certain type of date automate. It's kind of hard to explain, but basically, I'd like to make it so that when I enter a date in one column, another column will automatically populate with the 1st of the next month. For example:
If I enter 4/26/2009 in the 1st column, column 2 will read: 5/1/2009
If I enter 1/19/2008 .................................................. 2/1/2008
Also, it's very important that if the FIRST date is already the first of the month, then the second column will read the same. For instance: If I enter 3/1/2009 in the first colum, the second column will ALSO read 3/1/2009.

I work in a factory where we create different types of units daily. Below is a list of planned production on a specific date, say today's date. This is a very crude example, with information missing, and it is important to know that there are conditions attached such as:
The types are added randomly. The amount of types is much greater meaning that each type is on it's own page with breaks between. Everything produced on this date will have a URN (unique reference number) with its first 6 digits equating to yy-mm-dd and the last two being the position of the unit in the production sequence (first=01, second=02 etc).
I have gotten it to the point where if you enter them in sequence (Type A first for example) it will lookup to see the last assigned URN and taking the quantity into account issue the correct URNs.
The issues I have are when the URNs are less than "10", there is a problem displaying the 0 before the digit which disrupts the sequence. I can provide more clear examples if required.

I know that this could be a stupid question, but was wondering if it could be possible. I would like to select a column by a keyboard shortcut. If I would press a key combination adding the letter of a column as example F, it would select the whole column. I was trying to search for this in google, but no luck.

I have this code that I have been using fine until today when it just stop working for me... It's a simple copy and paste using VBA Code. The code finds the last row in Column A and copies the cell to L1. Below you will find the code I'm using and the line in yellow is where I'm getting the error.

I am trying to have some automation to my WS and what I want to do, is if a certain column (column 104) is changed, it will fill out that column with the data entered as long as the account is the same (column 5). Here is the code I tried, but realized very quickly, it puts me into a loop. This is being called by a change worksheet fuction

In the attachment is a file, which allows me to specific a Column and hide. For Example enter "H" in the InputBox and Submit the Column "H" is hide.

I have a sheet that begining in A3 and going down need to look for the First Instance of the text String "Loan Documents" and down to the last instance and select the corresponding range in column B.
Example: if the Text String appears in Range(A14:A32) I need the Range(B14:B32) to be my selected range.

In cell b5 I have =today() which automatically updates the date on a daily basis. What I would like to happen is for each day there is a new line is automatically inserted with the date so:

I would also like any information on each of the line to move down when the new line is inserted. I am not really that good with macros or VBA but feel that is the only option to solving this problem. Also would everything still update even if the file wasn't opened for lets say the weekend. So it is constantly rolling.

I have column C as my selection column...so basically if they would like to see any items in rows 7-60, they can put an X in Column C and see an aggregate of those items.
What formula would I use to do the aggregate that is determined by input into column c?

I have 10 tabs in a workbook, the first five tab is for 5 Departments for the Month of March, the other 5 is for the same 5 departments for the Month of April.
I want to compare a particular field for each Department for the two months. The field is in column N.
Is there a code that will copy column N for Finance March, Column N for April and paste them into another worksheet in the same workbook in Column A and B, then go to the next department HR and copy Column N for HR March and April and paste in the same worksheet where Finance already as in column D and E, then go to Operations March and April tabs and paste into the same worksheet as column Worksheet G and H.
Basically the copied columns are pasted March April next to each other for all the businesses in the new .

I want to create an input box that will allow you to input the column number it should start in... so instead of it being fixed at A, you can choose column B, C, D all the way to the end if you like.

How would you set up a macro to delete numbers in a spreadsheet in one column that appear in another column or worksheet?
In other words, if I have the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9, 10 in one column and in the same column, or another column or worksheet I have the numbers 1,2,3,4,5 - I need a way to delete 1,2,3,4,5. I know how to delete duplicates via the advanced filter but I want to have the duplicate and original deleted.

In the attached file, details sheet contains multiple instances of project with associated costs for each of 2006, 2007 and 2008. What I need is a formula (preferably) or a VBA that select distinct project names and populate column B of summary sheet so I can do a sum if. The problem is the project names changes dynamically every week and they are practically in hundreds.

When I hit the print button the worksheet prints on the paper in the bin. However, there are times when I need to print the worksheet on different paper which requires me to go into the properties and change the paper source from Automatically Select to Manual Feed. I have been trying to created a macro what will switch to Manual Feed, print the worksheet and then switch back to Automatically Select but have been unsucessfull.
