Copy Sheets And Change Sheet Name And Cell As Matching Date?

I have a template with a sheet dated the 1st of the month "Feb 1" Cell 2 also had the same date.

I'd like a VBA to copy this sheet, change the sheet names to Feb 2, Feb 3, etc, and also change cell 2 to the same name...

I've seen similar code to copy sheets and change name, but can't figure out with the date...

A pop up asking for the number of new sheets would also be useful.

I have in my 'Daily' sheet I9 which needs a formula to look at the date in C9 and the scan range 'Weeks' F6:AN41 and find the cell with the matching date and then whatever text is in Row 2 of the column the date was in will be returned.

I am trying to find a way of comparing entries in one spreadsheet to another spreadsheet and generating a third sheet of those that do not match.

As an example, I have a spreadsheet of approved supplyers, with name, reference and date in each column, and a speadsheet of used supplyers, some with references and some without. I want to compare the supplyers used to the approved supplyers list by reference number (which are in the same format), and produce a third sheet listing all those that do NOT match e.g. unapproved supplyers.

I need to make sure that the third spreadsheet only lists each seperate supplyer once, even though they may have been used several times, AND it must also include supplyers without a reference number.

I will use this to compare many spreadsheets with the same data, but of varying length and would like to use a macro to perform this function.

Copy Matching Data Between 2 Sheets To 3rd Worksheet

I have found the following code on this forum that has really worked well. This code matches the first two columns of two worksheets and inputs them into a third worksheet. But I need to be able to copy up to five more columns, a total of seven columns and have it input into the third worksheet. I am not sure what it means "For Each c In Sht1Rng". look at the code and advise me of what I need to do.

Extracting Matching Data From Two Sheets Into Third Sheet?

I'm not sure if this is best handled in the Formulas & Functions section or elsewhere, but this is my best guess. I have a spreadsheet used for tracking hardware issues with data in two worksheets:

1. PageCount
Column 1: Date
Column 2: Serial#
Column 3: PageCount

2. Tickets
Column 1: Date
Column 2: Serial#
Column 3: TicketNumber

What I'm trying to do is find a way to extract from those two sheets the date, serial number, page count, and ticket number where the date / serial # are the same and dump this to a new sheet. I've thought that I may need to concatenate the date / serial number together into a single cell or something, but I'm really at a loss as to how to pull this data. Part of me thinks this should be done in SQL, not a spreadsheet, but that's how our reports are produced.

For instance, a value of 8 is entered into a particular cell in the Master, it is copied and pasted into column E of another worksheet, on the row with today's date already written in column B. I am trying to copy an entire row to another tab based on when a cell changes. The column where the change will come from in colum N. I am using this code based on what I have read on this board, but cannot seem to get it to work correctly.

I have a set of sheets on a workbook that contain addresses, which are all combined on the first sheet (as you can see in the attached file). I would like to use a formula to compare the addresses on the Main sheet with the other sheets, then return in the D column of Main a colored cell indicating on which sheet the address was found on; different colors for different sheets. I tried to figure out some conditional formatting, but to no avail. Also, on occasion I have spreadsheets with 5 or 6 sheets containing these mixed addresses. Is there a solution that won't be limited to just a few sheets for comparison?

Currently I have it setup to copy rows to a sheet "Report" based on a single cell value. But now I need the same thing but have it copy the rows based on 2 cells values to sheet "Report". I have an excel workbook that has many spreadsheets (each one sheet has a client name)I have another excel workbook that has these client names on one sheet (on a list) and next to every name I have a number (i.e total turnover of the year).

In the first workbook (where every client has his sheet (tab named after the client) I want to have a cell that equals to the sum of some cells on the other workbook, that refer to the specific client

Compare 2 Lists In Different Sheets Then Copy And Paste Related Cell Onto First Sheet

What I am trying to do here is to compare 2 lists in 2 different files, and when there is a match, then copy and paste the related cells of the matching name. Sorry if this sounds messy, perhaps the sample file I have attached can explain better.

Every month I get a new file in the format of “Data Source” sheet where the list of banks in column A and the figures in column M, AA and AB might change from month to month. For the sake of convenience, I put the source data as a different sheet instead of different file here.

I have an existing report template in the format of “Final report” sheet where basically I copy and paste the relevant cells according to the name of the banks.

I don’t think I can use Vlookup because the cells that I want to extract are not right beside the search criteria. If I’m wrong please correct me.

Anyway, assuming a macro is needed for this, I am wondering if I can create a macro, where it can search the list of banks in column A in “Data Source” sheet based on the list in column A in “Final Report” sheet, then copy the correct cells from column M, AA and AB and then paste them into the correct cells in columns B, E and H in “Final Report” worksheet?

Note that not all the banks in the “Final Report” sheet are in the “Data Source”, so for this example, row 4 for ABN Bank should remain blank after the search because it is not listed in the “Data Source”. The Data Source List might also change over time.

There is also this problem of the bank names from the “Data Source” sheet not being exactly the same as the existing list in “Final Report”. For example in this file, ANZ Bank in the other sheet have all the extra stuff behind, but we know it is the same bank.

I'm trying to eliminate any .select or .activate from my code to speed things up and reduce screen flicker. At the moment, I have a sheet created at the click of a button. Basically for every date exclusive of weekends, there are 4 entries, for each date there are the following entries AM Metro, PM Metro, AM Regional, PM Regional. The user wants to be able to change the date range in the "overview" sheet and when there is data already in the other columns for these matching rows, have the input sheet update with old (copied??) info, if no previous data then add all 4 rows and sort... if previous date not in date range then delete entire row.

Copy Contents Of Userform Into The Matching Sheet

I have a userform in a workbook and depending on what selection the user makes from a combo box, I want the data to get pushed into the relevant sheet.

I did think I could get away with

etc but its now not copying data into Tools if I selected Tool from cmbtype (but when I select Guide it does appear to work).

The rest of the code is the same regardless of what type they select from cmbtype, its just which sheet the data gets copied into that changes.

I need to track only certain tasks id's out of entire task id database. I have 1 column of data on sheet "A" that represents task id's I want to track. On sheet "B" I have multiple columns of data, the first column being the task id's. I need to compare the column on sheet A with the first column on sheet B. If there is a matching task id, I need to copy the entire row of data from sheet "B" on to a new sheet "C". If there is no matching task id on sheet "B", I would like to copy just the task id. Each week I would get a new set of data for sheet "B" (which can vary in length) and I need the ability add or subtract task id's on sheet "A" that need tracking. I have some specific requirement and it would be great if I could do it through macro. Also attached a sample excel file for the requirement. I have raw data in a worksheet (WS1) that I receive daily from factory. There is another sheet in a different workbook (WS2) that has format specified on how to display this raw data. The order of raw data on WS1 remains same. The question is that how do I replace the format titles with raw data?

For example, in the attached excel sheet, sheet "data" has list of values. Sheet "format" says how to display data. Sheet "output" is output that I finally want to generate. Matching Ranges In Different Sheets And Then Copying Certain Cell Value

There are two sheets: Sheet1 and Sheet2

Columns in Sheet 1 are the following:
company PERMNO number, dates, market capitalization (no data in this one)

Columns in Sheet 2 are the following:

company PERMNO number, ticker, dates, market capitalization

In Sheet2, there is a whole range of dates (between 1990 and 2004) for every single company, whereas in Sheet2 there is one or 3-4 dates for a every single company.

I would like to match the exact date/dates in Sheet1 in the range of dates in Sheet2 and then if they match, copy the corresponding cell value from the market capitalization column in Sheet2 to the empty market capitalization column in Sheet1. I also want that the company PERNO numbers match.

In short: if PERMNO numbers match, match the date/dates in Sheet1 within the range of dates for the same company in Sheet 2 and copy the market capitalization value to Sheet1.

Example:

Search To Find Matching Cells And Copy/transpose Adjacent Data To Original Sheet?

I'm trying to find a way to search a second sheet in a workbook for specific criteria outlined in a first sheet (in my attached example, from A3 downwards within the 'list of search criteria' sheet), and then to copy any secondary data found against a successful search match to the original sheet, transposed against its corresponding matched search term.

As you can see in the example, the search term 'bindi' (A4 in the 'list of search criteria' sheet) appears in the 'data' sheet 3 times - the secondary data for these occurences ('feathery', 'Fibonacci', 'glassy') is copied to the 'bindi' row on the first sheet and is offset with each copy to produce a transposed-esque effect of copy and paste.

If it's any help, there are a maximum of 9 matches for a single search term in the real document.

Thanks in advance for your help... I tried to adapt a previous solution given to me for a similar question but failed miserably. I bow humbly to your expertise!

Via conditional formatting, I am searching to change the color of a specific word in a cell (not the color of everything in the cell, but only that specific word - and the word repeats in the cell). A function such as =isnumber(search("NOK";A1)) colors all the cell values, which I do not want to do. How i can perform this task?
