Remove Matching Items From A Workbook Based On A Master List

I have Workbook A populated with skus from a report and I want to remove all rows in this workbook that do not have a matching sku in Workbook B. Each workbook contains only one sheet and the skus are in column 1 of both workbooks.
Also, I am looking for a good resource/tutorial for working with workbooks, worksheets and ranges within. I don't anticipate this being the last time I will be confronted with this and would like to learn more.

It's a quarterly schedule for utility meter readers, divided up into days across the top, and routes/areas down the side.
There's a space with each route for the employee ID to go, depending on who's doing it.
Down the bottom of the sheet, there's a few empty lines for all the available employees who haven't been allocated to a route.
On the second sheet labelled EMP LIST, is all the employee IDs. It's also got the areas they work- it's for something I want to implement later.
I can put all the employees into a single column list, then use basic DV to give a dropdown menu by each route, to assign an employee to it. This is pretty straight forward. I've also been playing with this in combination with a countif, so that employees already assigned do not appear in the list.
This is about as far as I've managed to get with it.
I need to get the employees who aren't assigned to anything to appear in a list below the routes. I'm fairly sure this is just another countif, but I'm not 100% on the exact formulas.
I also need the list in the dropdown menu to reset for each day of the quarter, i.e. if I assign an employee to a route on the 30th day of the quarter, their ID will disappear from the list for any other route for that day, but will still be there for the other days of the quarter.
So far the only way I've managed to do this is by duplicating the employee list for every day of the quarter, which is going to get very cluttered, and also makes staffing changes difficult. I'm hoping there's an easier way to do this using one data set.
I've added an example of the sheet. It's one week and it's only got about 1/3 of the routes we would actually have on any given day.

I have two worksheets: A and B.
Worksheet A:Contains 2 columns: Issue# (Col. A) and Program (Col. B).
Issue# contains a list of multiple issues. There are several instances in which the issue# is repeated.
Any particular Issue# field may have several issues in it, delimited by a comma.
Program is a program associated with the issue and this column also contains duplicates.
Worksheet B:Contains 1 column: Issue# (Col. A)
This is a unique list of issues#'s.
All Im looking to do is parse all Issue#'s from Worksheet B and have some way of knowing if that issue# is anywhere in Worksheet A. Most importantly, I need the "indicator" to be displayed on Worksheet A. This way I can see what program(s) is/are associated with the matching issues.
A couple other notes:All Issue#'s in Worksheet B are referenced at least once in the Worksheet A Issue# list
There are several issues in Worksheet A which are not referenced in the issue list on worksheet B (of which I dont care about)
I really hope that makes sense, but if not...

I have attached the sheet :
Certain job descriptions require certain training. Drivers needs these two particular trainings and an office employee only needs that training...
I have a reference sheet with what trainings are required for what job. I then want the next chart with each employee name and subsequent job title to have the required trainings automatically checked. (I can take care of the conditional formatting after that).

I'm working with many rows of data (500,000+) and many columns. To simplify my question, I'm going to provide a simple example using made up numbers and only the columns I'm concerned with.

I am trying to remove the docs that have two Bill types that cancel each other out, where the qtys match and highlight the rows where the qtys don't match. The macro needs to have the positive and negative bill types programatically entered, where for example F1 and F2 are positive and S1 and RE are negative. Keep in mind the data may not necessarily be in order as it is above.
So for example with data above, the rows for doc 777 would be removed completely because the item numbers are the same, the qty is the same, and the bill types oppose each other. Doc 123 and Item 10 lines should be highlighted since their bill types are opposed bu their qtys don't match.
I hope this makes sense. I tired to achieve this using multiple loops and arrays, but ran out of memory when working with the entire set of data. I'm assuming their must be a better way to do this, I'm hoping some of the intelligent individuals here will be able to point in the right direction.

I am trying to copy a spreadsheet i made in google docs in excel keeping the same functionality. Since the formulas are a bit different between the two, i can not simply copy the codes so i must start from scratch. The basics of my spreadsheet is that i have (3) columns: A master list, A filtered list, and an input list. I want the filtered list to change based on the values in the inputted list.
ColA = Input list
ColB = Filtered list
ColC = Master list
Items:
Orange
Red
Blue
Yellow
Green
ColA contains the colors i manually enter
ColB contains all the items in ColC that are NOT already listed in ColA (except for Red, i dont what that showing up)
ColC contains ALL the items above.
Two Examples of a functional worksheet:
ColA............ColB
Orange........Blue
Green..........Yellow
ColA........ColB
Orange....Blue
.............Yellow
.............Green
ColB is where the magic happens, it grows and shrinks based on the values in both the master list ColC and the input list ColA

I have created timesheets for employees that work in our shop. Our company manufactures products for different industries, such as mining, wind power generation, general industrial applications, and so forth. I modified some time sheet templates I found for excel to accommodate our company's actions. Each employee has their own workbook, in which the months are separated into different worksheets. Each sheet is divided further into weeks and in each weekly section the areas of information are divided as follows:
A / B / C / D / E / F / G / H / I / J / K / L / M
Work Sector / Workshop or Fieldservice / Scope of Work / Job # / Reg or OT / Mon / Tue / Wed / Thu / Fri / Sat / Sun / Total
There are 7 workbooks (one for each employee), each with 12 sheets (one for each month). I want to create a master sheet that will pull information from everyone's timesheet if they worked on a particular job. In other words, I would like to type a job number into a cell, then have excel look through everyone's timesheets and pull over only the rows of information that contain that job number

I am trying to write a list of pivot table page filter pivot items to the Immediate window - but only hidden items. The code below should do the job where the active sheet is a pivot table.
However when I change the page filter pivot items being hidden, the pivot items returned by the macro don't change. It seems to assume that all pivot items are hidden when in fact it may be only one or two. It will work though for pivot row items (pvt.RowFields) and pivot column items (pvt.ColumnFields) where the user changes them.
Does the pf.HiddenItems collection work for RowFields and ColumnFields but not PageFields? If so, is there a pivot field object that reliably holds hidden pivot items residing in the page filters?

In Excel 2007, I need to be able to return a value (definition of something) based on what is selected in 2 other cells.
(See Attached)
If in cell C2 I select "competency 1" and in Cell C3 I select "Expert", I need to be able to return the definition for someone that is an Expert in Competency 1 in cell D2.
Then, if in cell C5 I select "competency 2" and in Cell C6 I select "Leading", I need to be able to return the definition for someone that is Leading in Competency 2 in cell D5. And I'll be doing this about 10 times on each sheet.
All the tables with info are in another worksheet. I can do a vlookup if I'm just using one thing to match, but how do I match 2 things to return the definition?

Copy rows from one Sheet to another based on a separate cell value But specifically, I am trying to copy row values from Columns C through column Z in Worksheet 1 of file POHeader.xlsx to row values Columns N through AK in file POReceiv.xlsx when the (Purchase Order #) values in Column A of each file match.
The reason is behind this is - one file has the unique Purchase Order number as the key without associated parts and the other file has the associated part number as the key with purchase order number attached.
I don't know whether I need to use VBA or if I can just use an index and match function.

I have 2 dropdown lists.
The 1st shows the portfolio list and the 2nd one should display project names based on the portfolio selection in Dropdown1.
My data resides in another sheet where Column B is the Portfolio list,Column C project list and Column D to X some data related to the project.
I have to give cell link reference to the project selected in dropdown 2 so that the other values in the dashboard changes based on a vlookup formula.
I have attached the sample sheet for reference with some dump values.

I am wanting to create a list where I can select multiple items within that list and then print only those selected items. I have created something similar thru data validation, but I can't get it to print.
In addition, I would like to be able to subdivide the list into multiple categories, then select items from these multiple categories and print them.

getting correct formula and normally there are people much smarter then I in the
discussion group. What I have is a workbook with 4 worksheets and on on of the worksheets I have a layout like this. (sheet 1)

On another worksheet(sheet 3) I have a list of subscriptions (I.e drivers
numbers already filled in) I have this set up as a list.

What I am looking for is a way to pull the drivers numbers from sheet3 into sheet1. so basically in sheet 1 if a1 and b1 match the name + origin in sheet 3 it will pull the driver number from that row into c1 sheet1 . If nothing matches then it should leave it blank. The data in sheet 1 changes everyday for me as I get a manifest on who to deliver wheels on wheels to, my problem is while I know all the correct drivers go to what people, I can never have a day off as someone filling in for me has to go through 400 addresses and look each one up and put coresponding drivers number into it.

How could I return an 'x' in column C against the A values corresponding with the G values, for example an 'x' in C6, an 'x' in C9, an 'x' in c15' etc? And a blank for example at C8 and C14.

I think I've been at the Xmas sherry for far too long as I can't see the wood for the trees with the following code. It is supposed to find the position of the string_to_find within range_to_match.
I have checked and the address returned locally by range_to_match.address is correct. However the individual items (current_item) are coming back as blanks (as in the Msgbox) - rather than the members of the range.
I did try and do this via application.match but again got an error.
There is an option explicit at the very top of the module.

I am trying to have an order form auto populate information, however I have run into a small problem when doing so. I am unable to use VBA because it is locked by whoever originally created the spreadsheet so I need a formula solution if possible. I would like for the worksheet "Order Form" to auto populate the type of printer cartridge when there is a 0 in the column "On Hand" on the "List" worksheet. I know a loop could do the trick but I was wondering if maybe a vlookup or if statements could get the job done. Here is a completed sample of what I would like to happen.

I'm working on a travel form, which allows people to enter a travel itinerary. From that, I want to be able to extract the cities where they are spending one or more nights - so that I can then do the calculations for accommodation allowances.
I am able to calculate the number of nights stay in each city where there is an overnight stop. But I'm stuck on how to extract every combination of City and Nights where Nights is greater than zero - there is no need to calculate for cities with no overnight stay.
I have attached an example spreadsheet.
Some notes:
- the itinerary and accommodation tables have to remain separate, as they hold more data than in the example,
- the itinerary table can't be sorted for number of nights. It has to be in chronological order for each segment!
Every lookup function I check out seems to demand a sorted table.

That's basically what the code does. however, it takes an extremely long time to get through with everything as each array increases in size.

I know how to use array formulae to create a unique list, i.e.{=INDEX($G$1:$G$760,SMALL(IF(ROW($G$1:$G$760)=MATCH($G$1:$G$760,$G$1:$G$760,0),ROW($G$1:$G$760)),ROW()))}
however this is giving all the unique items from column G and I only want the unique items that have a non-zero value in column H as well. This would be the sumif of all instances that would have to be zero. I've tried to crack it and I've tried to search for solutions but so far no joy.

I am trying to compare two colums. They both contain numbers mixed with letters. I am wanting to match only the numbers in both not the letters. Example:
column a = m454 column b = fsh454-1
m543 fst998-2
m998 fsm434-1
my match is m454 and fsh454-1, m998 and fst998-2. The items can be in any order in the column. The end result I want to indicate the match by putting an X by column a item that matches column b.

When the checkbox is unchecked , remove that item from the listbox.

I have an array MyArr() in excel.
Its length is from 1 to i where i takes dynamic value from varibable.
Now the problem is MyArr(1 to i) has some empty values.
Like say: if i = 5 then
MyArr(1) = "a"
MyArr(2) = ""
MyArr(3) = "b"
MyArr(4) = ""
MyArr(5) = "c"
How can I get rid of those empty elements so that MyArr() becomes only three elements long and then display them in a range of three cells.
