Sending Data From Spreadsheet In Outlook

I have an excel spreadsheet of 500 users which contains these details:

A1 = Email Address
B1 = Mobile Number
C1 = User Name
D1 = Department
E1 = Manager
F1 = Handset

What i am after is something which will let me be able to use outlook to email each user their own details. So the "TO" filed in outlook to be A1 Email Address
Subject to be - Company Mobile Phones Then in the body of the email to have the users details, so something like.

Mobile Number - 0123456789
User Name - Stewart Layzell
Department - IT
Manager - The Boss
Handset - Iphone

Sending Outlook Calendar Invites Automatically When Cell Updated In Excel Spreadsheet

I have created a spreadsheet that displays new dates in column D based on provided dates in Column B and recurrence intervals selected in column C. The dates in column D are when a training deadline occurs. I have been trying to get a macros written so that when a cell in column d is updated, an outlook appointment message is sent to the person doing the updating. The idea here is that anyone can use this without future coding (so their address would be placed in cell say A1)

So far all i have gotten is excel to send an email to me with the excel spreadsheet as an attachment, not really what I want. Again, I dont want somethign specific to my computer settings, I want to be able to send the spreadsheet out with simple instructions for the user to change their email in cell A1 and then every time a cell changes in column D, it automatically generate an appointment reminder for the new date.

Compose Outlook Email Without Sending

I am trying to write a macro to compose an email in outlook without sending it. Ideally the macro would compose the email and the email would be left open for me to inspect before sending. Below are the details.

Column A contains the addresses
Column B contains the CC addresses
Cell C2 contains the message

I can change where the above info is located/arranged if need be.

My spreadsheet automatically generates the email addresses, which are dynamic. For control purposes my employer does not want me to have the email automatically sent, being the reason for me to want to inspect the email before sending it.

i have the following code in my Excel worksheet. This code successfully send out email to our customers when if the criteria is true. I have tested this at home and it works perfectly as I use Outlook at home. However when I take this code to work I couldn't get this working as at work we use Outlook 365 and we use web Outlook, OWA.

Is there a setting I can specify to use OWA as I don't think I am allowed to install outlook at work.

I've seen a few posts recently asking about sending either sending a range or a worksheet in an Outlook email as the body of the message through code. I've been looking at this and think I've come up with something that might work. I'd appreciate it if any of you XL kings and queens would take a look and see if the code works OK on your machine. I've sent a few messages to myself (sad I know ) and they seem to work well.

Here's the code. You need to set a reference to the Outlook object Library AND the Microsoft Scripting Runtime in order for this code to work.

How do I send data via VBA from a spreadsheet to a webpage that is already open? I don't want to open another IE window. I just want to be able to navigate the IE window that is already open on my desktop. Also, in reference to the open webpage, with this particular webpage (secure site), when you enter data on 1 screen, it takes you to another screen with a different url where you have to enter a bit more data and then move to a third screen with a different url and enter the rest of the data and then submit. Is there a way in VBA to have one macro handle passing data to all 3 screens and submit the information?

Saving And Sending A File With Selected Data Only

I currently have a tab on my spreadsheet named CSV. I have a macro that when called saves the information on that tab and sends it to a folder saved as a CSV file.

However this tab has a lot of information on and i want it so send it with only the information needed at the time. the data i want to send is in Columns A to AM and has rows down to 7392. I only want it to save the file with the data in the rows that has "Export" in Column AQ ignoring any other rows of data that i dont need it to send

I dont want anything to happen to the CSV tab ie delete lines etc as files will be getting sent regulary from that sheet still but with the data constantly updating in different cells

I need to get the data from the sheet 1 added to the sheet 2 by clicking on the ADD DATA button in the sheet 1. The sheet 1 will be filled in multiple times like a form by the users, so once the data is added to the sheet 2 I would like sheet 1 to have no data filled in the column to the right. The data will be only filled in the right column, thus the left column should not be copied to the sheet 2.

Sending Linked Charts - Data Missing Or Can't Display

On a weekly basis I update a suite of charts in one workbook that are created from several other linked workbooks. Once compiled I send this via email to a colleague who incorporates it into another report by printing the charts as a pdf. For some reason he often ends up with erroneous data (zero's where there shouldn't be on the charts), or often his system doesn't display certain elements like titles and axes etc

We think his system is spending resource looking for the original data and getting itself knotted up, but surely there should be a way of delinking the charts but maintaining their integrity as they are saved?

Tab 2-25 --Report Tab for each client--to be sent out to client weekly to update status of deliveries.

Current process:

1. copy and paste data table into excel model Tab 1

2. use advanced filtering to pull data from the datatable into each tab one tab at a time--25 times!

3. Sort the date in the report tab--25 times

4. Format the report tab--25 times

5. Copy and Paste into a separate workbook--25 times

6. Send each report--25 times

How do I reduce the number of steps in this reporting process?

I have two spreadsheets, one gives me the beginning and end of civil twilight as a measure of day vs. night. The spreadsheet has Date/Time in the first column, and the value 45 in the 2nd column when it is night. The second spreadsheet has also 2 columns with date/time and body temperatures of a squirrel. I want to get basic statistics (mean and standard deviation) of the squirrel's nocturnal body temperature, that is for times when it is night (value 45). The tricky part is that Date/Time of both spreadsheets are different. The procedure has to recognize that the date/time of body temperature lies between the beginning and end of the value 45 blocks of the first spreadsheet.

Macro To Generate Outlook Emails With Data / Information From Multiple Rows Of Data?

I am attempting to create a macro to generate emails based on data in a sheet. The goal is to run the Macro, and have it generate emails to send to contractors letting them know what they are going to be paid. For instance:

Name in Column J
Email in Column L
Memo in Column N
Balance in Column T
Due Date in Column P
Week Ending Date in Column H

Now what I would like to happen, is to tie a macro into a button that will create the email as follows:

To Field: Email address from Column L
Subject: "Company Payment Remittance Payment Date *Date from Column P*"
Body: Hello *Name from Column J*,
For *WE Date in Column H* you will be paid *Balance from Column T* for the time worked of *Memo in Column N*

Now the tricky part is that I want the email to contain all line items for each email address. So instead of sending one email per line, have the macro automatically put all of the information that needs to be sent to one email address into the message. I don't know if that is possible, but it sure would make my life easier if it was.

Often I need to add data from one spreadsheet to the appropriate places on another spreadsheet. For example:

Sheet A has 10,000 records with these fields: id#, name, address, place of employment.

Sheet B has 5,000 records these fields: id#, GPA, college major, type of degree.

Some of the records in B contain information for the same id#'s as sheet A. I want to add this information together so that a Sheet C will have these fields: id#, name, address, place of employment, GPA, college major, type of degree.

I use a report daily at work that is filled in during the day; I'm wanting to minimize some of the work to be more efficient. VBA to search a particular folder in outlook (ex: inbox - cust info ) and search within those emails to verify 3 items match (Cust ID / $ / items) before extracting data and putting it into column F for that item. For instance, bank a and bank c have $ values that match, but the other criteria dont - Cust ID and items. Also is there a way to attach a copy of that email to the spreadsheet, say in column G, it doesnt have to populate in the spreadsheet, but maybe the attachment will open even 6 months down the road? I am worried that a link will eventually get lost if an email is erased.

I've had a scan through the archives trying to find a post or item on importing Outlook data to Excel, and have so far only found articles on importing data from users' 'Contacts' lists. I need functionality so that when the user selects an office (e.g. 'London') from a list, further details for those offices - which are stored as individual members of the global Outlook addressbook - for example postcode, can be operated upon.

Because this data is relatively dynamic (e.g. potential for relocation of office premises), I need any procedures to refer to a single unified data source, therefore I'd like any VBA procedures to use data directly from the outlook address book, instead of importing a static copy of the data and then performing operations on this.

Compare Before Spreadsheet Data To After Spreadsheet

Wondering if there is an easy way to compare 2 spreadsheets that should have identical data on them? The first spreadsheet (Before) has the output data from 'before' a code fix was applied. The second spreadsheet (After) has the output data from 'after' a code fix was applied. The spreadsheets have 7 columns of data and almost 500 rows.

I've already copied the data from the source datasets provided by my IT folks into Notepad (.txt) files and then used Excel to open them as fixed width spreadsheets. I have 1 workbook with 1 spreadsheet with 'before' data. And, I have 1 workbook with 1 spreadsheet 'after' data. And, I have another workbook that contains both worksheets. So, I'm ready to go whenever I get hints of what to do next. :-)

I need to be able to show my client that we did not impact the data with the code fix that was applied. I want to be able to show my client contacts (business folks) an end result via Excel that confirms that I actually compared the 2 sheets and there were no differences. In other words....I can't just show them a formula with '0' as it end result (even tho that's basically what I'm trying to prove).

I need to write a macro that will import data contained in another spreadsheet, but am unsure how to do this. I have several (about 15) spreadsheets that contain data. I need to import key bits of this data into one central spreadsheet that will be used for reporting purposes. I only need 2 cells worth (values) from each source spreadsheet, to be pasted into the destination spreadsheet, into designated cells.

The source spreadsheets are usually closed down and kept on a file server, which my PC has access to. Ideally I want to activate this macro with a control button - i.e. I press the button once and the macro goes off and collects/updates each field with the latest data stored in each of the source spreadsheets.

Macro To Create Outlook Events From Excel Data?

Currently I have been tasked with trying to develop a link between an excel spreadsheet and outlook. What they want is for a button to pickup new entries into the sheet and then create outlook events based on several criteria. The first been that is put on several shared calendars, second that the category of the event is call "BID" and gold in color. The last part is where specific information from the spreadsheet fits into the event areas (ie. subject, location, start time, body). I did find code that is a possible solution but manipulating it to what i need. Here is the code.

As you can see for the most part I have been able to fill in most of the program with what i needed. I have column B on the sheet that has r's on it. If there is an r in that column then the macro creates information from that row, else it skips to the next one. so i need a loop. Also like stated above, how do you make it an event and not a meeting, how do you set the category and lastly for the boy how do i set it so it copies the entire row (column A, Column C to Column L)?
